Lässig at a glance
Lässig designs bags, backpacks and everyday accessories for families, from the baby years to the daycare years. In our shop, the range is divided into four product worlds: kids' bags and travel luggage, diaper bags, food & drink, and kids' shoes. Kids' backpacks and trolleys make up the largest share.
Lässig kids' backpacks for daycare and outings
For daycare, a small backpack that fits a lunch box, water bottle and a change of clothes is usually enough. Lässig offers its kids' backpacks in several sizes:
The manufacturer recommends the small Tiny Backpack, with a capacity of around 3.5 liters, for ages 2 and up.
Mini, Mini Square and Mini Rolltop are designed for ages 3 and up and hold roughly 6.5 to 9 liters.
If rain pants need to come along in addition to breakfast, the Mini Rolltop is the more practical choice because it has the largest capacity. For the youngest kids, who only carry their stuffed animal and a snack, the Tiny is enough.
Sets for starting daycare
We offer many kids' backpacks as a set with a matching lunch box and water bottle. That way, the basic gear for the first day of daycare is complete in one go and visually coordinated.
Kids' suitcases and travel sets
The Lässig Trolley is a kids' suitcase for children ages 3 and up. In the main compartment, two packing straps keep clothes in place, plus there are two side pockets, a zippered front pocket and a name tag so nothing gets mixed up. The telescopic handle adjusts to two heights, and the outer material is water-repellent.
In the travel sets, the trolley is paired with a matching toiletry bag, and larger sets also include a backpack or lunch set.
Lässig diaper backpacks and diaper bags
Which diaper backpack is right mainly depends on how much you carry every day. For everyday city life, a slim model like the 17-liter Slender Up is enough. If you also take your laptop to work, the 20-liter Minoa with a padded laptop compartment is the better choice.
Keep using it after the diaper years
A Lässig diaper backpack isn't retired once your child no longer needs diapers. According to the manufacturer, the changing accessories can be removed. After that, you can keep carrying it as a regular backpack, for example to work, on outings or on vacation.
Accessories and material
Depending on the model, the diaper backpacks come with accessories such as a water-repellent changing pad, a stroller attachment and an insulated bottle holder. That way, you have everything within reach when changing your baby at a café or on the playground.
Slender Up and Rolltop Up are part of Lässig's Green Label collection. According to the manufacturer, their outer material is made of 100% recycled polyester, meaning reprocessed plastic instead of newly produced fibers. The bags are best cleaned with a damp cloth.
For short trips without a big bag, there are compact on-the-go changing kits.
Eating on the go and at the table
For daycare and outings, Lässig offers lunch boxes, snack boxes and water bottles, many of them made of stainless steel. They use rust-resistant stainless steel, the same kind used for cooking pots and cutlery.
For the first meals at the table, you'll find tableware sets, silicone self-feeding sets, spoons and a sippy cup with double handles.
