MediTex® hygiene cover & moisture protection
The babybay® MediTex® Wave 3D mattress fits the Comfort and Boxspring Comfort models. Its hygiene cover with MediTex® finish prevents the penetration of moisture and dampness according to the manufacturer, while remaining breathable. An additional water-repellent layer is therefore not necessary. According to the manufacturer, the MediTex® finish provides permanent protection against mould and house dust mites without the use of fungicides or microbiocides.
Climate channels & breathable 3D mesh
The open-pored comfort foam core contains vertical climate channels that are precisely aligned with the ventilation slots of the babybay® lying surface. They support air circulation and prevent heat build-up. Additionally, the integrated 3D mesh creates a breathable air layer that can reduce heat and moisture accumulation.
Wave contour & supportive lying comfort
The integrated wave contour of the comfort foam core, together with the star quilting of the cover, supports adaptation to your baby’s body shape and provides support. This way, the MediTex® Wave 3D mattress combines lying comfort with thoughtful ventilation.
Removable & hygienically washable
For regular cleaning, the mattress cover is equipped with a three-sided zipper. This allows you to easily remove it and wash it in the machine at up to 60 °C. The mattress is also manufactured and tested according to DIN EN 16890 and certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class 1 for babies.
