With the 16-piece Little Rebel Box from Bambino Mio, you get a great set for starting to use cloth nappies. Included are 10 reusable cloth nappies with absorbent inserts for daytime, 3 packs of Anti-Mess nappy liners for 300 changes, 1 wet bag for home, 1 pack of Hell & Heiter wash additive and 1 reusable refill container, as well as a cloth bag and stickers.

These reusable cloth nappies are a one-piece, growing all-in-one nappy system that is practical, uncomplicated, and effective – no hassle and no waste. The nappy system consists of a nappy with an integrated cloth insert. The nappy is printed on the outside with a colourful design, is waterproof, and has an adjustable Velcro fastener. This allows the leg openings of the nappy to be easily adjusted to your baby. The cloth nappy is also growing with your child, as it is adjustable at the front with press studs. This saves the purchase of nappies in several sizes. It fits from birth to potty training!

And this is how you nappy: open the nappy and if necessary adjust it to your baby’s size. Insert a liner (for heavy soiling) and it can be put on. The already integrated cloth insert has a super absorbent core and absorbs liquids. The outside of the nappy is waterproof and feels pleasantly soft.

The nappy should be changed after 2-4 hours. If the nappy is also to be used at night, we recommend an additional cloth insert, which is placed under the integrated cloth insert. With two nappy inserts, the nappy lasts up to a maximum of 8 hours.

The most important questions and answers

How do I use the press studs?

Set the press studs correctly before each nappy change – it is much easier if you don’t have a wriggling baby in the nappy. If you have a newborn, you need to use the lower press studs and fasten them to the upper counterparts. If your child is a toddler, you will probably no longer need the press studs, but adjust the fit with the adjustable Velcro fasteners at the front as the child’s build changes.

How do I put the nappy on?

First, set the press studs to get the right fit for your baby. If you use nappy liners, place them in the centre of the nappy. Next, place your baby on the open nappy, pull the front up and close it with the adjustable Velcro fasteners. Make sure the absorbent insert and the inner fabric do not stick out and that the elastic cuffs lie in the leg crease. For an optimal fit, you should be able to slide two fingers lightly under the waist cuff at the front.

How do I care for the nappies?

Store your nappies for a maximum of 3 days and empty your home wet bag into the washing machine drum on wash day. To wash economically and environmentally friendly, it is best to always wash full loads, but make sure not to overload your washing machine. If you fill your machine to about ¾, your nappies can tumble around in the wash and get especially clean. We recommend washing your nappies at 40°C with sensitive detergent. It is not necessary to use fabric softener when washing, as this can impair the absorbency of your nappies. Add 3 tablespoons of Hell & Heiter wash additive for nappies to give your laundry an extra boost of freshness and to remove stubborn stains and odours. Finally, you should air dry your nappies, either indoors or outdoors whenever possible, and keep them away from direct heat. If necessary, our nappies can be tumble dried on a low/cold setting.
