WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

1. This stroller is designed for children from 0 months of age up to 22 kg / 4 years (whichever is reached first).
2. Never transport more than 1 child at a time in the stroller.
3. Never lift the stroller while your child is inside.
4. Always use the most reclined position for newborn babies.
5. If the manufacturer of your stroller recommends use in combination with a carrycot or child car seat, the maximum weight specification of the additional product is decisive for the use of the product combination.
6. If the manufacturer of your stroller recommends use in combination with a carrycot or child car seat, always position it facing towards you.
7. Do not take stairs or escalators with your child in the stroller.
8. Always engage the brake when placing your child in or taking them out of the stroller. Always engage the brake, even if you stop only briefly!
9. Use only accessories approved by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories could be dangerous.
10. Do not use any mattress other than the one supplied with the carrycot/stroller.
11. Please observe the following maximum weight specifications for strollers with accessories (depending on model): maximum permitted weight for the play table 2 kg. Maximum permitted weight for the net 2 kg. Maximum permitted weight per bag 1 kg. Maximum permitted weight for the basket 5 kg.
WARNING:
• Never leave your child unattended.
• Ensure before use that all locks are engaged.
• To prevent injury to your child, ensure your child is not nearby when unfolding or folding the product.
• Do not allow your child to play with the product.
• Always use the harness system.
• The product is not suitable for jogging, skating, or any other sporting activities.
• Child car seats used in conjunction with a chassis do not replace a cradle or cot. If your child needs to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable carrycot, cradle, or cot.
• Not suitable as a sleeping cot for the night, as there is a risk of injury or harm to your child.
• Any loads hung on the handlebar, backrest, or sides impair the stability of the sport/stroller.
• To avoid the risk of suffocation, plastic covers must be kept out of reach of babies and young children.
• Use of the rain cover: Due to high heat retention, do not use in strong sunlight. Do not use the rain cover without the hood. Use only under adult supervision. Ensure the rain cover does not touch the child’s face during use. Do not use with products not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Before use, check that the carrycot or seat unit is properly locked in.
• Always ensure the brake is engaged before releasing your stroller.
• Never allow your child to climb in or out of the stroller alone.
• Use a safety harness once the child can sit independently.

Baby Car Seat

This is an extended baby car seat, which must be used in combination with a suitable ISOFIX support foot, both of which are approved according to UN R129 regulation for i-Size compatible vehicle seats, as noted by vehicle manufacturers in the manual. This seat is also usable as a standalone baby car seat according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system. If you have questions, contact either the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system or your specialist dealer.
WARNING:
If the child car seat is installed rear-facing on the front passenger seat, the passenger airbag must be deactivated.
WARNING:
• Do not make any modifications to the child car seat, as this could lead to dangerous situations.
• Never alter the design or materials of the seat or the harness without consulting the manufacturer first.
• This child restraint system is only effective if the instructions for use are followed.
• Always install your Maxi-Cosi car seat as described in the user manual. Any other installation method could negatively affect safety.
• Never leave your child unattended.
• Always buckle your child in. Ensure the pelvic belt is positioned low and tightened to hold the pelvis securely.
• Always cover the child car seat from direct sunlight.
Otherwise, the cover and metal and plastic parts may heat up and become too hot for your child’s skin.
• Replace the child restraint system (car seat) if it has been heavily stressed in an accident: your child’s safety can no longer be guaranteed.
WARNING:
• When installing with belts, ensure the belts securing the seat in the car are tight.
• After placing your child in the car seat, ensure all straps (such as the safety belt) are sufficiently tight and fit firmly against your child’s body. Pull on the webbing to tighten.
Check before each use that the straps (e.g., safety belt) are neither damaged nor twisted.
• The rigid parts of the child seat and those made of plastic must be positioned or secured so that under normal vehicle use they cannot become trapped under the child car seat or in the vehicle door.
• Always secure the child restraint system, even if no child is seated.
• Ensure luggage and other items that could injure occupants in an accident are securely stowed.
• Never place heavy objects on the parcel shelf to avoid them being thrown forward in an accident.
• Do not use the child seat without the seat cover.
• Never replace the cover with one not recommended by the manufacturer, as it is an important part of the seat.
• Fold-down seats must always be properly secured/locked.
SAFETY:
• The products have been developed and tested with great care for your child’s safety and comfort. Use only accessories sold or approved by the manufacturer. Use of third-party accessories may be dangerous.
• You are responsible for your child’s safety. Read these instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the product before first use.
• Keep the instructions for future reference; a storage compartment is provided on the child car seat for this purpose.
• Do not use second-hand products whose history you do not know. Some parts may be damaged or missing.
• For maximum safety and improved comfort, we strongly recommend removing the child’s coat.
• For your own safety and that of your child, always transport your child correctly buckled in the secured car seat, even for short journeys.
• Even minor vehicle impacts can turn your child into a projectile.

Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
