Simple & quick sterilization with the Chicco steam sterilizer
An ideal support for everyday life with your baby is the steam sterilizer 2in1 with drying function from Chicco. With it, the daily sterilization of baby bottles and accessories is gentle, effective and free of chemicals. The sterilizer uses the action of pure and natural steam to kill up to 99% of harmful household germs*.
It's easy to use: add water, close the lid and in just 5 minutes, with no warm-up time, up to 6 vials and accessories are disinfected. Afterwards, the steam sterilizer switches off automatically. Pacifiers and breast pumps can also be sterilized without any problems. Here you can choose between 2 configurations: Full Size (up to 6 x 330 ml baby bottles plus lids and nipples) and Compact (up to 2 330 ml bottles plus 1 breast pump or various pacifiers).
The contents remain sterile for up to 24 hours after sterilization as long as the lid is not opened. The integrated air filter ensures a drip-free result as moisture is absorbed. The sterilizer can be cleaned quickly and easily from top to bottom, inside and out. Due to its practical size, it can also be easily taken along on trips.

• This device is intended exclusively for household use and must be used according to the instruction manual. Do not use the device for purposes other than those intended (sterilisation of bottles, pacifiers and accessories for breastfeeding your child at home). Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
• This device is only intended for indoor use and must not be exposed to sun, rain or other weather conditions.
• This device must not be used by children. Keep the device and power cord out of reach of children.
• Please ensure that no children play with the device.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical or sensory abilities only under appropriate supervision or after they have received instructions regarding safe use of the device and have understood the hazards associated with the device.
• If the device is sold by the purchaser or entrusted to third parties, they must receive instructions on the safe handling of the device by reading the instruction manual, especially the safety warnings contained therein, which must always remain with the device, and must understand the hazards associated with the device.
• Warning: For safety reasons, the device must always be connected to a power circuit with effective grounding.
• Place the device only on stable and level surfaces that are inaccessible to children.
• Never place the device on or near hot surfaces, gas stoves or hotplates, or on heat- and/or moisture-sensitive surfaces.
• Do not place objects or components directly on the heating plate.
• Note that parts marked with the symbol can become very hot during use.
• During use, the device becomes very hot as it produces hot steam. Therefore, be sure not to remove the lid and/or allow your hands and face near the steam outlet opening in the lid. Risk of burns.
• At the end of a sterilisation cycle, the water contained in the device and the upper surface of the device can be very hot. Be careful to avoid burns.
• Warning: Wait a few minutes before removing the lid at the end of a cycle, and be especially careful when removing the lid to prevent sudden escape of hot steam or dripping of hot water, which could cause burns.
• Warning: When filling water into the container before the cycle and when removing the lid after the cycle, ensure that drops do not accidentally fall on the plug and power cord.
• Never block the steam outlet hole at the top of the lid.
• Never immerse the device, plug or power cord in water or any other liquid.
• Do not pull on the power cord or the device itself to unplug the power plug.
• Always unplug the power cord from the socket and allow the device to cool completely after each use or before moving, repositioning, cleaning or maintenance.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks to be performed by the user must not be carried out by children and/or persons with reduced mental abilities or by persons lacking knowledge or experience.

WARNING
- The device, its accessories and packaging elements (plastic bags, boxes, cartons, etc.) are not toys and must therefore always be kept out of reach of children as they pose potential hazards.
- Always ensure before using the device that the product and all its components are intact. Otherwise, do not use the device and please contact a specialist or your dealer.
- Items inside the device are very hot immediately after the sterilisation cycle. Always be especially careful. Allow them to cool before further handling.
- Warning! If for any reason the power supply is interrupted during operation of the device, the sterilisation cycle may not be completed. In this case, the sterilisation of the products placed inside the device may be insufficient.
- When the steriliser is not in operation, always switch it off by setting the main ON/OFF switch to 0 (OFF) and unplugging the power plug from the socket.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the device. The device can only be opened using special tools.
If the power cord needs to be replaced, only an identical cable to the supplied one must be used, and the work must only be carried out by qualified personnel or by Artsana S.p.A.
- Do not place objects in the steriliser that are not suitable for warm sterilisation. Ensure that the voltage of the steriliser (see details on the label under the device) corresponds to that of your power supply.
- Connect the device to an easily accessible power socket.
- Do not operate the device without placing the corresponding parts basket inside.
- Never use the device without water in the heating container.
- Never put any liquids other than drinking water into the container for the sterilisation cycle.
- Artsana S.p.A. is not liable for personal injury or property damage if objects/parts not suitable for microwave or warm sterilisation are placed in the device or if the device is connected to the power supply in a manner that does not comply with applicable regulations and/or the information on the rating plate on the device or the information in this instruction manual.
