WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

• Before use, ensure all locks are engaged
• Ensure the child is out of reach when folding and unfolding the stroller to avoid injury

• Use a safety harness as soon as the child can sit independently
• This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months
• Always use the restraint system
• Before use, ensure that the stroller attachment or seat unit or the fastening elements of the car seat are correctly locked in place
• This product is not suitable for jogging or skating

• This product is suitable for children aged 6 - 48 months (with carrycot from birth) or up to a maximum weight of 22 kg, whichever comes first.

• This product is designed for use by one child.
• The parking brake must be applied when placing or removing the child.
• The shopping basket can be loaded up to a weight of 5 kg.
• Any loads attached to the handlebar, back, backrest or sides of the stroller affect the stability of the stroller.
• Always use the crotch strap in conjunction with the pelvic belt.
• Use only approved accessories from the manufacturer.
• If you use the chassis with a car child seat, it does not replace a cradle or cot. If your child needs to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable stroller attachment, suitable cradle or suitable bed.
• Use only approved spare parts from the manufacturer.
• Do not make modifications that compromise safety.
• Keep this product away from fire and other sources of heat.

• When going over steps or stairs or if your stroller is lifted or carried, you should always remove your child from the stroller.

Carrycot

• This product is suitable for a child who cannot sit independently, turn around or push up on their hands and knees. Maximum child weight: 9 kg
Never use this carrycot on a stand
• Use only on a firm, level, dry surface.
• Do not allow other children to play unsupervised near the carrycot.
• Do not use the carrycot if parts are broken, torn or missing.
• Do not leave the flexible carrying handles inside the carrycot.

• Use only approved accessories from the manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other sources of heat.
• Use only the mattress supplied and do not use an additional mattress in the carrycot.
• Regularly check the carrying straps and base for damage.
• If carrying loops are attached to your carrycot, they must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure that your child’s head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body.

Remove all bags and packaging materials before use

Infant Carrier

Do not use the child seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of category i-Size.
It is approved under regulation No. 129 for use on vehicle seats designated by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle manual as suitable for i-Size restraint systems.
If in doubt, consult the child restraint system manufacturer or retailer.
It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a “universal” child restraint system of this age group.
• This child restraint system is classified under stricter conditions as “universal” than earlier models without this label.
• In case of doubt, contact the manufacturer or seller of the child restraint system.
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. If necessary, deactivate the airbag (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be in the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or folding seats; no heavy objects should be placed on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No alterations may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Ensure the car safety belt is undamaged and fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be snug. Ensure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy to support healthy development.
• To avoid unnecessary heat exposure, do not leave the baby seat in direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short trips.
Most accidents happen here.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or car.
• Set a good example and always wear your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take regular breaks on longer journeys so your child can recover from the strain of travel outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read this instruction manual carefully and follow the assembly instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approx. 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• The child seat can only guarantee safety if used correctly.
• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt both on the front passenger seat and on the rear seats, provided it complies with regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.
We recommend placing the seat on the rear bench.
• The baby seat must not be secured only with the pelvic belt.
• In the car, the child seat must always be secured with the car belts, even if no child is in it.
• A loosely fitted seat can injure car occupants during emergency braking or an accident.
• Children have a strong urge to move and should therefore always be strapped in the baby seat, even outside the car.
• Ensure the seat is not damaged by being caught in the vehicle door, rotating car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g. luggage) or similar.
• Do not make any modifications to your child seat. This could impair the safety of the seat.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds above 10 km/h), damage to the child car seat may have occurred that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Ensure all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or hard braking are adequately secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby in it could fall.
• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• As the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with covers recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Refer to your vehicle manual for the position of the Isofix anchors and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.
