A car seat for the entire childhood
The Graco car seat SlimFit™ R129 accompanies your child from birth up to around 12 years of age, combining safety, comfort, and durability in a single car seat. Thanks to its growing design, it adapts to your child’s needs over many years, making additional seat changes unnecessary.
Long rearward-facing travel
For optimal protection, the SlimFit™ R129 is used rearward-facing from birth up to a height of 105 cm. During this phase, the integrated, padded 5-point harness system reliably secures your child. From a height of 100 cm, the seat can be used forward-facing. Afterwards, the vehicle seatbelt secures your child up to a height of 145 cm or about 12 years old.
Tested safety according to current standards
The car seat meets the current R129 safety standard and has been subjected to approval for extended side impact tests. The attachable TrueShield™ side impact protection element reduces force during a side collision. Additionally, the integrated Safety Surround™ technology protects your child’s sensitive head and body area. Colour-coded belt guides and practical belt clips support safe installation in the vehicle.
Automatically grows with your child
The 10-position height-adjustable headrest can be comfortably adjusted with one hand. At the same time, the side wings automatically grow with your child, providing optimal protection and comfort at every growth stage. The integrated 5-point harness system also automatically adjusts to the new height without needing to rethread the straps manually.
Comfort on every journey
Six different recline positions provide a comfortable sitting and resting position. Two positions are available for rearward-facing use, four more for forward-facing use. The soft newborn insert, padded harness pads, and ergonomically shaped seat shell offer high comfort from the first day of life.
Practical for everyday family life
When the integrated 5-point harness system is no longer needed, it can be stored space-savingly inside the seat. For easy cleaning, the fabric covers can be washed in the machine at 30 °C. This way, the SlimFit™ R129 remains a reliable companion for every family trip over many years.
