Travel safely from day 1
In the Graco infant car seat SnugEssentials™ i-Size - Midnight Black, your little one is perfectly secured in your car from birth. It is suitable up to a maximum height of 75 cm and can be used up to the age of around 1 year. A multi-part newborn insert with cuddly memory foam is included to ensure that even the smallest children sit comfortably and safely. It adapts perfectly to the little body and is pleasantly soft.
Tested safety: The ADAC (issue 10/2021, in a test with 24 child seats) and Stiftung Warentest (issue 10/2021) in a test with 24 child seats rated the SnugEssentials i-Size infant car seat as good (1.8).
The infant car seat is attached either with the separately available Isofix base or with your car's seat belt. Your little one is framed in the infant car seat by excellent side impact protection made of energy-absorbing foam. Your baby is secured in the seat with a soft padded 3-point harness. A practical sun canopy is also attached to the infant car seat to provide shade in sunny weather.
Light as a feather & practical
Of course, we also thought of you when it comes to comfort: the SnugEssentials™ i-Size is super light at 3.66 kg. This makes it comfortable to carry and lift into the car. This makes it easier to move from one car to another and is easy on your back. As the infant car seat can be attached to the vehicle using either the Isofix base (available separately) or the vehicle seat belt, it is suitable for any car. The former is particularly convenient and works with just 1 click.
The practical everyday companion can also be used for a practical travel system. The infant car seat is suitable for every Graco baby carriage and does not require an adapter for installation. Simply lift it out of the car, attach it to the frame and you can go shopping or for a stroll without having to wake your baby. The cover of the SnugEssentials™ i-Size is removable and machine washable.

Please check before purchasing this advanced child restraint system whether it can be properly installed in your vehicle.
NO child restraint system can guarantee complete protection against injury in an accident. However, the proper use of this reinforced child restraint system reduces the risk of serious or fatal injuries to your child.
To use this reinforced child restraint system with ISOFIX attachments according to ECE Regulation R129/02, your child must meet the following requirements.
Child size 40 to 75 cm / Child weight ≤ 13 kg (Child age < 12 months).
To use this infant carrier module with a vehicle belt, your child must meet the following requirements. Child weight ≤ 13 kg / Child age < 12 months.
All straps of the advanced child restraint system must be securely fastened and must not be twisted.
Do NOT install or use the reinforced child restraint system without following the instructions in this manual; otherwise, your child may suffer serious or even fatal injuries.
Never leave your child unattended in this advanced child restraint system.
Do NOT make any modifications to this advanced child restraint system; do NOT use it with parts from other manufacturers.
Do NOT use this reinforced child restraint system if it is damaged or parts are missing.
Do NOT dress your child in oversized clothing when using this reinforced child restraint system in forward-facing mode; otherwise, your child cannot be properly and securely fastened by the shoulder straps and the crotch strap.
Do NOT transport this child restraint system or other objects unbuckled or unsecured in your vehicle, as unsecured objects may be thrown around during sharp turns, sudden braking, or a collision and could injure occupants.
Do NOT install a rearward-facing advanced child restraint system on a front seat with an airbag.
Otherwise, serious or even fatal injuries may occur. Please refer to the vehicle manual for further information.
Never use a second-hand child restraint system or one whose history you do not know; it may have structural damage that could endanger your child.
Never use ropes or other substitutes to secure the child restraint system in the car or the child in the child restraint system.
Do NOT use this advanced child restraint system without the textile parts.
The textile parts may only be replaced with items recommended by the manufacturer. The textile parts are an integral part of the function of the advanced child restraint system.
Do not put anything other than the recommended padding into this advanced child restraint system.
Ensure that the reinforced child restraint system is installed so that no part interferes with movable seats or vehicle doors.
Do not continue to use this advanced child restraint system if it has been involved in any kind of accident, even a minor one. Replace it immediately, as it may have invisible structural damage from the accident.
Remove this infant carrier module and base from the vehicle seat when not in regular use.
Contact your dealer for maintenance, repair, and replacement concerns.
Always secure the child with the child belt when placing them in the infant carrier module, even if the advanced child restraint system is not in the vehicle. This prevents the child from falling out.
Ensure the child is secured with the child belt and the handle is properly locked in the vertical position before carrying the infant carrier module by hand.
Avoid serious or even fatal injuries by NEVER placing the infant carrier module with a child on an elevated surface.
Parts of this reinforced child restraint system should not be lubricated in any way.
Always secure your child in the reinforced child restraint system, even on short journeys, as most accidents happen here.
