Forward-facing child seat from 15 months to 12 years

The i-Irvana - Shale child car seat from Joie is a forward-facing, i-Size certified child car seat that grows with your child from a height of 76 cm (and a minimum age of 15 months) to 150 cm (approx. 12 years). Your baby is perfectly secured with the integrated 5-point harness until they are 105 cm tall, i.e. approx. 4 years old. After that, the 5-point harness is stowed away in the storage compartment provided and you fasten your child with the vehicle's own 3-point harness. Your child can use the i-Irvana until they are 150 cm tall, i.e. until they are approx. 12 years old and no longer need a child seat. Until then, the headrest can be adjusted to the size of your child in 15 positions. Thanks to the GrowTogether function, the height of the headrest and belt system can be adjusted simultaneously with just one movement, without having to rethread the belt. The seat depth can be adjusted in 3 positions. This means that the i-Irvana grows with your child in the best possible way.

Installation in the car

The child seat can be attached quickly and easily using the ISOFIX connectors, which can be extended in a single movement. Simply click the ISOFIX connectors into the car and secure them to the back of the car seat with the top tether strap, which is located at the top of the back of the child seat. This prevents the child seat from moving forward and thus the forces acting on the child. For children who are over 100 cm tall, the i-Irvana can also be secured using only the vehicle belt. However, additional fixation with ISOFIX is always advisable and prevents the child seat from slipping when getting into the car or without a passenger.

Comfort in the i-Irvana

The ventilation slots in the backrest ensure optimum air circulation and prevent your child from sweating in the i-Irvana. The seat padding with memory foam makes it really comfortable. The 5-point harness is also comfortably padded to prevent the buckles and straps from pinching. If the child seat gets dirty, the covers can be easily removed and machine washed.
