In the Joie i-Trillo i-Size in Thunder, your little passenger sits comfortably from about 3 years up to approx. 12 years. To keep up with your child’s growth, it is equipped with an adjustable headrest. The attachment with your car’s 3-point belt makes the seat especially safe. Since the car seat has a very slim design, even up to 3 i-Trillo seats would fit side by side on the back seat of an i-Size car.

The padded TriProtect headrest with a unique 3-layer safety concept including energy-absorbing IntelliFit memory foam offers particularly high protection for the sensitive head area. For extra protection, the Guard Surround Safety™ side impact protection elements absorb energy in the event of a crash. NO child booster seat can guarantee complete protection against injury in an accident. Nevertheless, the proper use of this child booster seat reduces the risk of serious or fatal injuries to your child.
! Always ensure that you follow the installation instructions correctly. This ensures that the child booster seat provides optimal safety.
! Ensure that rigid objects and plastic parts of the child booster seat are positioned and installed so that they cannot be trapped by a movable seat or a vehicle door.
! To use this child booster seat according to ECE R129/03, your child must meet the following requirements.
Child’s height 100 to 150 cm (reference age approximately 3.5 - 12 years)
! The child booster seat may not fit all vehicles for use by children 135 to 150 cm tall.
! The vehicle belt must be installed according to the instructions and must not be twisted.
! The booster seat must be checked and, if necessary, replaced after an accident or a fall from a greater height. Contact your dealer or the manufacturer for this.
! Do not make any modifications or additions to the booster seat without approval from an approval authority. Do NOT remove any of the white EPP/EPS foam parts.
Otherwise, serious safety issues may arise.
! Do NOT use the seat if the surfaces are too hot due to sunlight.
! Never leave the child unattended in the booster seat or vehicle, not even for a few minutes.
! Luggage and other objects that could cause injury in an accident must be properly secured.
! The child booster seat must not be used without the textile parts.
! The textile parts of the child booster seat should only be replaced with parts recommended by the manufacturer, as they significantly affect the behaviour of the child restraint system.
! Always buckle your child in, even on short journeys, as most accidents happen here.
! Do NOT transport the child booster seat unsecured or unbuckled in your vehicle, even without a child. Remove the child booster seat from the vehicle if it is not used regularly. Store it in a dry place protected from sunlight.
! You should not use a second-hand child booster seat if you do not know its history.
It may have structural damage or defects due to improper use/storage.
! Use ONLY the load-bearing contact points described in the instructions and marked on the child booster seat.
! Do not install this child booster seat under
the following circumstances: 1. Seats facing sideways or backwards relative to the vehicle’s direction of travel. 2. Vehicle seats that move during installation.
