The Trillo Shield - Inkwell from Joie always ensures a comfortable and safe ride. Stiftung Warentest declared him the test winner in Groups I, II and III and awarded him the grade Good (2.1) (test magazine, issue 11/2015). The softly upholstered seat can be fastened alone with the vehicle's 3-point harness or additionally with the Isofix connectors. It has side impact protection on both sides, a safety cushion and a headrest with multiple height adjustment. So the car seat can be adapted completely to your child and this sits also on long distances comfortably and above all safe.

Optimal safety & comfort

Ab about nine months, which means if your baby can sit on its own, you can use the Trillo Shield with safety cushion. This is softly padded and keeps your little one firmly in the seat. The vehicle's own 3-point belt extends over the front of the cushion and provides a firm hold. If your offspring is about three years old or weighs 15 kg, simply remove the safety cushion and use the Trillo Shield from now on as the seat of group 2/3.

The headrest of the Trillo Shield can be adjusted several times in height and can be carried with your child. The upholstered seat is wide and equipped with two comfortable armrests. It also has a pull-out cup holder on both sides. Reliable safety is ensured on the one hand by the far forward sides of the child seat and on the other by the side impact protection and the safety cushion which serves as a safety catch. In the event of an accident, the resulting energy is then evenly dissipated. Your child is held securely in the seat by the vehicle's 3-point harness. Thanks to the belt guide marked in red, the Trillo Shield automatically sits optimally when you put it on.

Easy attachment in the car

There are two ways to attach the Trillo Shield: either with the vehicle's own 3-point belt alone or additionally with the help of the Isofix connectors. These grip the Isofix anchorage of your car and give the child seat extra support – so even more safety is provided on the way. If you don't want to use the Isofix connectors, they are simply hidden in a recess on the underside of the child seat.
