The Jonka baby bed and crib Leni incl. bed linen, canopy, nest & mattress 70 x 140 cm - play bear - nature is a wonderful dream oasis for your little darling from day one. This piece of furniture impresses above all with its high-quality workmanship - it is made from certified, semi-solid pine wood from European forests.
The 70 x 140 cm bed with height-adjustable lying surface can be used for a particularly long time: The 3-way height-adjustable slatted frame (H 12 cm / 32 cm / 45 cm) can be adjusted according to age. The highest setting makes it easier for you to put your baby in and out of bed in the first few months and is easy on your back. The slatted frame is equipped with elastic spring slats for a relaxed sleep.
The three slatted rungs allow your child to get in and out of bed independently. The crib can later be converted into a junior bed (children's bed) using the enclosed conversion corners. To do this, the slatted frame is attached to the headboard and footboard with the 4 enclosed conversion corners.
The complete bed set also includes everything your little one needs to feel completely comfortable: It includes a 7 cm thick standard foam mattress, the cute Kuschelbär bedding with hotel cover, a padded nest and a canopy with a metal canopy pole. The canopy pole is simply inserted into the openings provided on the headboard. The textiles are tested for harmful substances in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
WARNING – Ensure that the cot is not placed near open flames or strong heat sources, e.g. electric heaters, gas stoves.
WARNING – Do not use the cot if any parts are broken, cracked, damaged or missing. Use only replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING – Objects that could serve as footholds or pose a risk of choking or strangulation, e.g. cords, curtain/drape cords, etc., must not be left in the cot.
WARNING – Never use more than one mattress in the cot.
All safety-relevant product features are designed for ONE child:
- Load capacity of the slatted frame and bed sides
- Load capacity of the assembly and screw connections
- Height of the slats as climbing protection
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BED AS A PLAY AREA FOR TWO OR MORE CHILDREN! RISK OF ACCIDENT!
- One to two persons are required to assemble this product.
- The lowest slatted frame setting is the safest for your child. Only this position should be used once the child is old enough to sit up.
- Once the child can climb out of the bed unaided, the bed must no longer be used as a cot, otherwise there is a risk of accident due to the high slatted sides.
- The mattress thickness must be chosen so that the mattress surface is at least 50 cm below the upper edge of the bed frame at the lowest slatted frame position (bed base) and at least 20 cm below at the highest slatted frame position.
- The red line on the inner head or foot end indicates the maximum allowed mattress height; if not present, the mattress may be a maximum of 10 cm thick.
- The mattress size depends on the bed size and should accordingly be 70 x 140 cm or 60 x 120 cm.
- One of the slatted sides has two or three removable escape slats. For your child’s safety, this slatted side must only be assembled so that the escape slats can be removed by lifting upwards. Incorrectly assembled escape slats can lead to accidents.
- All fittings for assembly must always be properly secured and should be regularly checked and tightened if necessary.
- To avoid a choking hazard, all plastic covers must be removed before use.
- Although we use only health-safe paints in the manufacture of our furniture, we ask you to place the product in a well-ventilated area for several days to neutralise the new smell.
Bumper
WARNING! Ensure that fastenings (e.g. ties) remain securely attached to the cot.
WARNING! Remove the bumper as soon as the child can sit unaided.
As soon as children can sit or stand upright without help, they often use the bumper as a climbing frame, which can lead to falling out of the cot.
WARNING! Keep away from fire.
Do not use the bumper if it shows any signs of damage.
