WARNING!
WARNING – Ensure that the cot is not placed near open flames or strong heat sources, e.g. electric heaters, gas stoves.
WARNING – Do not use the cot if any parts are broken, cracked, damaged or missing. Use only replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING – Objects that could be used as footholds or that pose a risk of choking or strangulation, e.g. cords, curtain/drape cords, etc., must not be left in the cot.
WARNING – Never use more than one mattress in the cot.
All safety-relevant product features are designed for ONE child:
- Load capacity of the slatted frame and bed sides
- Load capacity of the assembly and screw connections
- Height of the slats as protection against climbing
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BED AS A PLAY AREA FOR TWO OR MORE CHILDREN! RISK OF ACCIDENT!
- One to two persons are required to assemble this product.
- The lowest slatted frame setting is the safest for your child. Only this setting should be used once the child is old enough to sit up.
- Once the child can climb out of the bed unaided, the bed must no longer be used as a cot, otherwise there is a risk of accident due to the high slatted sides.
- The thickness of the mattress must be chosen so that the mattress surface is at least 50 cm below the top edge of the bed frame in the lowest slatted frame position (bed base) and at least 20 cm below in the highest slatted frame position.
- The red line on the inside of the head or foot end indicates the maximum allowed mattress height; if not present, the mattress may be a maximum of 10 cm thick.
- The size of the mattress depends on the bed size and should accordingly be 70 x 140 cm or 60 x 120 cm.
- One of the slatted sides has two or three removable escape slats. For your child's safety, this side must only be assembled so that the escape slats can only be removed by pulling upwards. Incorrectly assembled escape slats can lead to accidents.
- All fittings for assembly must always be properly secured and should be regularly checked and, if necessary, tightened.
- To avoid a choking hazard, all plastic sleeves must be removed before use.
- Although we use only health-safe varnishes in the manufacture of our furniture, we ask you to ventilate the product well for several days to neutralise the new smell.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
