Wash pads according to the care instructions. For waterproof pads, note that they can lose their protective function at excessively high temperatures.
Some pads should be air-dried and not machine-dried to preserve the quality of the material.
Ensure that the pad lies flat and wrinkle-free on the mattress to avoid discomfort or pressure points.
Do not use pads on mattresses with special surfaces that could be damaged by the material of the pad.
Avoid overheating: Particular care should be taken when using additional blankets or heaters.
