Since you do not have to bend down too low to take it out of the crib, this height is very gentle on the back. If your little one is already bigger and can sit independently, it's time to switch to the lower position. The high sides with mesh fabric are very airy, give a good view of your offspring at all times and prevent it from easily climbing out of the Maxi Cosi Travel Cot Iris.

2. Do not use this bed if any parts are broken, damaged, or missing, and use only replacement or individual parts approved by the manufacturer.
3. Before using the travel cot, check that the respective locking mechanism is engaged and correctly adjusted, and that the connecting devices are securely fastened; ensure these are regularly checked and tightened if necessary.
4. Make sure the travel cot stands on a stable surface and that a safe distance is maintained from any objects.
5. Do not leave anything in the bed and do not place the bed near any product that could pose a trap or a choking or strangulation risk for the child’s feet, such as threads, curtain cords, etc.
6. Ensure the bed is not placed near open flames or other strong heat sources, such as electric heaters, gas heating systems, etc.
7. Use only the mattress supplied with the travel cot; using another or an additional mattress may be dangerous for your child.
8. Always check that all screws of the item are tightly fastened and that the child cannot injure themselves on any part, catch their clothing, or become entangled with their clothing (cord, pacifier chain, necklace, etc.) to exclude any risk of strangulation.
9. Use only accessories sold or recommended by the manufacturer. The use of third-party accessories may be dangerous.
10. Use the bed with the baby support only for one child.
11. Do not use this support if your child can sit upright unaided.
Then use the lower position. Since the height of the bed frame and mattress are adjustable, the lowest position is the safest.
12. Please be sure to remove the crossbars before using the bed in the lowest position.
13. Do not use the bed once your child is able to climb out unaided. This avoids the risk of the child falling out.
