Stiftung Warentest (magazine test - issue 06/2014) and ADAC (magazine ADAC Motorwelt - issue 06/2014) are also convinced of the safety: In the June 2014 safety test, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble achieved an overall score of 2.3 (GUT) - in conjunction with the 2wayFix base, even 1.6 (GUT).

Comfort and safety

The highlight of the Maxi-Cosi Pebble is its sophisticated Easy-Out harness system: When you place your child in the infant carrier, the opened harness parts stand out slightly. So you can simply strap on your child without searching long for the belt parts. The padded 3-point harness can be adjusted in height in one easy movement together with the pillow. In terms of accident safety, the integrated side impact protection, which reliably protects the head and body from injury, is a convincing feature.

Füfor real comfort, the included head cushion and wedge cushion. With their help, newborns are gently supported. If your baby gets bigger, both pillows can be removed. Another extra is the integrated sun canopy – it protects against summer heat, wind and adverse weather conditions.

Fastening

You have a total of four possibilities to fix the Pebble baby seat in the car: With the vehicle's own 3-point harness, the Isofix FamilyFix base, the 2wayFix base and the EasyBase 2 belt base (bases available as accessories).

All three basic systems allow easy and quick installation of the infant carrier: with one click the infant carrier is fixed in the car and can be removed again at the push of a button! The Isofix FamilyFix and 2wayFix bases are fixed to the Isofix anchors of the Rückbank using integrated locking arms. This means more stability and safety in the event of accidents!

Note: The Pebble infant carrier has been approved by the TÜV for use in airplanes – so your baby travels safely and comfortably in airplanes.

Use as a shop´n drive system

The Pebble infant carrier can be mounted on many pram and buggy frames using a separately available adapter and is therefore also suitable for short trips. By using it as a Shop'n-Drive system, you don't have to wake up your sleeping baby after driving. Get out of the car, click on the chassis and off you go’s for shopping in the supermarket.

Nursing instructions and accessories

Cleaning the infant carrier is also very easy: the cover, cushion and belt pad can be machine-washed at 30 °C. The carrier is quickly cleaned with a damp cloth!

To ensure that your offspring always feel good in the infant carrier, we recommend that you buy additional accessories: rain protection for bad weather, a infant carrier sack for the winter and an insect net against wasps and mosquitoes to protect your infant in all weathers.
