With the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix i-Size base, your little one can ride safely in the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix in the car from day one. The base is firmly anchored to the Isofix devices of your car and thus offers the best possible safety for every trip.
It is also very easy to use: The simple Click&Go installation has the advantage that the seat can be removed from the CabrioFix base in a few simple steps.
In addition, the base has an audible and visible installation indicator that shows you exactly whether the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is correctly engaged. So you can drive off with an absolutely safe feeling. A support leg provides additional support in the direction of travel. This locks into place as soon as it is in the correct position. At around 5 kg, the base is comparatively light and easy to lift into your car.

CabrioFix i-Size base is a base station approved according to the new European i-Size standard R129 valid since July 2013. i-Size aims to improve the safety of children in vehicles and provides for the use of UNIVERSAL ISOFIX installation, rearward-facing transport of children up to 15 months of age, as well as optimisation of head and neck protection. This base station can be used in combination with our i-Size infant carrier CabrioFix i-Size. More information about R129 and i-Size can be found on the website www.maxi-cosi.com
Category of your car seat: i-Size (40 - 75 cm – up to approximately 12 months)
Position of your car seat: rearward-facing
Install the base station only in a forward-facing vehicle seat.
Install CabrioFix i-Size infant carrier
• Connect the fastening rods to the base station until they click audibly into place on the base. The indicator on the release button of the infant carrier (A) must also show green.
• To release the CabrioFix i-Size from the CabrioFix i-Size Base, first press the release button of the infant carrier (A) and then pull towards the front of the base station. Detach the CabrioFix i-Size from the base.
• Never install the CabrioFix i-Size in a forward-facing position on the CabrioFix i-Size base in the vehicle.
• Do not install the CabrioFix i-Size base with the CabrioFix i-Size installed in the deployment area of airbags.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
