If you have already used these in conjunction with the FamilyFix base, you can easily continue to use the base for the Pearl. Thanks to the Easy-Out harness system, your little one is quickly strapped in and perfectly secured by the 5-point harness. This adapts together with the headrest to the size of your child. On long journeys, the Pearl invites you to snooze in a comfortable resting position.

Comfort and safety

The highlight of the Maxi-Cosi Pearl is its sophisticated easy-out harness system: When you lift your child into the seat, the open parts of the harness stand out slightly. So you can easily buckle up your little passenger without having to search for the belt parts. The height of the 5-point harness can be adjusted in one easy step together with the headrest. In terms of accident safety, the integrated side impact protection is convincing, reliably protecting the head and body from injury. In combination with the FamilyFix base, five comfortable sitting and resting positions are possible, so that your child can enjoy the ride super relaxed.

Fastening

The Maxi-Cosi Pearl is attached to the car using the FamilyFix base. This allows easy and safe installation of the seat. With the help of integrated locking arms, the base is fixed to the Isofix anchors of the back seat. This means greater stability and safety in the event of an accident. The Maxi-Cosi Pearl is then simply clicked into the base. A visual and audible indicator shows you the correct installation of the child seat on the FamilyFix base.
