The Maxi Cosi Pebble Pro i-Size infant car seat accompanies your little one on all car journeys from day one and meets the latest safety standards with ISOFIX. This means your little explorer can travel super safely in the car from 45 to 75 cm, that is up to about 12 months. The infant car seat is attached using the included Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 i-Size Base with ISOFIX. When the Maxi Cosi Pebble Pro is combined with the base, you can start right away after a simple click-in. This makes installation in the car facing backwards a real breeze.
Highest safety & comfort combined for your baby
The Pebble Pro Maxi Cosi features a Side Protection System: shock-absorbing material on the side wings reliably protects even in the event of a side impact. The central harness adjustment allows the shoulder straps and the height of the headrest to be adjusted simultaneously.
With the Maxi Cosi newborn insert “Baby-Hugg”, even the tiniest passenger with a body size from 45 cm is already safely seated. Framed by the cosy insert, the little passenger sits firmly and securely in the infant car seat. As your baby grows, the seat reducer can be easily removed completely or partially – creating a larger seat that can grow accordingly in no time.
Pads on the shoulder straps of the 3-point harness prevent uncomfortable pressure or digging in. On sunny days, the sun canopy is a practical protection that reliably shields sensitive baby skin from too much sun exposure. If the Maxi Cosi Pebble Pro cover needs cleaning, you can simply remove it and restore it to its shine with a hand wash.

An audible and visible indicator confirms correct installation, while a support leg provides additional stability. The Pebble Pro i-Size meets the requirements of the EU regulation i-Size R129 applicable since July 2013. i-Size aims to improve the safety of children in vehicles and provides for the use of UNIVERSAL ISOFIX child seats, rearward-facing transport of children up to 15 months of age, and optimisation of head and neck protection. Position of your car seat: rearward-facing
Do not use the Pebble Pro i-Size for longer than 10 years.
Baby in Pebble Pro i-Size
1. Make sure that no more than one finger fits between the harness and your baby (1 cm). Tighten the harness if there is more than 1 cm of space.
2. Use the seat reducer only if the shoulder straps are in the lower position.
3. The headrest can be used at any length in the child seat and removed if desired.
WARNING:
• Never place the child car seat on elevated surfaces (e.g., on tables and chairs).
• Install the child car seat only rearward-facing in the vehicle.
Pebble Pro i-Size in the vehicle
1. Use only a forward-facing seat with a 3-point safety belt that complies with ECE R16 standard.
2. Make sure the vehicle’s safety belt runs in a straight line and remains under the harness hook of the child seat.
3. The vehicle safety belt must be routed tightly along all blue markings. For correct installation, read this manual and the labels on the side of the child seat.
Pebble Pro i-Size on an aeroplane
• The attachment of the Pebble Pro i-Size to a passenger seat in an aeroplane differs from installation in a vehicle.
• Attachment of the Pebble Pro i-Size with a two-point safety belt is only permitted on an aeroplane.
• The Pebble Pro i-Size may only be used on forward-facing passenger seats on an aeroplane.
• Position the Pebble Pro i-Size child seat rearward-facing on the passenger seat. Pass the 2-point safety belt through the belt guides (1,2). Close the buckle of the 2-point safety belt (3) and tighten the 2-point safety belt over the tension strap (4).
• The handle of the Pebble Pro i-Size must be folded upwards.
• The belt buckle must not be positioned in the belt guide of the Pebble Pro i-Size. Otherwise, a secure attachment is not possible.
• To remove the Pebble Pro i-Size, open the buckle of the 2-point safety belt by flipping open the lock (5). Pull the 2-point safety belt out of the guides. Ensure that the Pebble Pro i-Size does not fall off the passenger seat when opening the buckle.
• The Pebble Pro i-Size must remain fastened to the passenger seat on the aeroplane, even when not in use.
• The Pebble Pro i-Size may only be used on passenger seats designated for this purpose by the airline.
• Do not install the Pebble Pro i-Size in the deployment area of airbags.
• The instructions of the cabin crew must be followed.
• If the attachment instructions and the user manual are not followed, your child’s safety cannot be guaranteed.
Isofix base FamilyFix 3
FamilyFix3 is a base station approved under the new European i-Size standard R129 applicable since July 2013. i-Size aims to improve the safety of children in vehicles and provides for the use of UNIVERSAL ISOFIX installation, rearward or sideways transport of children up to 15 months of age, and optimisation of head and neck protection. This base station is part of the 3wayFamily and represents a complete mobility solution from birth to approximately 4 years.
