The Swing Maxib>electric double breastpump from Medela offers you maximum comfort and, thanks to its 2-phase technology, pumps out more breastmilk in less time. It can be used for one-sided or two-sided pumping. Pumping from both sides saves time and increases milk production at the same time. The double breastpump is very quiet, fast and discreet. If you do not have a power source available for mains operation, the device can also be used with batteries.

2-Phase Expression Technology

The 2-phase pumping technology mimics the natural sucking rhythm of your baby, making pumping more natural and the milk begins to flow earlier. The initial stimulation phase lasts max. 2 minutes and stimulates the milk flow with short, fast sucking movements. Then the device automatically switches to the slower pumping mode. If the milk shot starts earlier, you can manually switch to the pumping phase. This technology maintains milk production, shortens the pumping process and makes it easier for you and your body to switch from breastfeeding to pumping. The motor unit allows you to automatically increase or reduce the vacuum when pumping out. Operation with mains adapter or batteries allows you to use the handy device on the move. Thanks to the fastening clip, Hängeband and storage bag, the Swing Maxi is easy to take with you wherever you go. The included PersonalFit breast cap in the size M fits on nipples with a diameter of 24 mm. Since every breast is unique, Medela's breast caps are available in four more sizes, so that every mother can find a suitable one for herself. The base prevents the pump body from tipping over. With the multi-cap you can securely close the bottle and store it in the freezer or refrigerator.

The breast milk is pumped directly into the bottle. The PP bottle has a capacity of 150 ml and has a standard thread on which you can screw the included Calma nipple. With Calma, your little darling can drink evenly, pause and breathe in his natural rhythm, just like when breastfeeding. For milk to flow during breastfeeding, your baby must create a vacuum through a combination of tongue and jaw movements. This vacuum must also be built up in the Calma, so that it retains its natural absorbency. This makes it particularly easy for your child to switch between breast and bottle.

Simple and hygienic

The assembly, use and cleaning of the breastpump and Calma breast milk teat are intuitive and easy. Thanks to the so-called media separation, a milk overflow protection system, no breast milk gets into the air loops. This means that no cleaning or sterilisation of the loops is necessary. You can screw all Medela teats onto the bottles and use them as bottles for feeding. The Calma Breastmilk Teat fits any Medela bottle and standard commercial bottles.

All products that come into contact with breastmilk are free of Bisphenol-A (BPA-free) and are easy to clean. The pump accessories can be hygienically cooked or conveniently cleaned in the upper dish basket or in the cutlery compartment of your dishwasher.
