Pumps with 2-phase technology

The 2-phase pumping technology imitates your baby's natural sucking rhythm. When you press the shorter side of the handle, the milk flow is stimulated with quick, short sucking movements. As soon as the milk starts to flow, it's the longer side of the handle's turn. Moving the handle imitates your baby's drinking behavior. Slow, stronger sucking motions get the milk flowing. With its 2-phase technology, Harmony makes it possible to switch smoothly between breastfeeding and pumping.

In addition to the ergonomically shaped handle, the pump is equipped with a PersonalFit breast hood. The hood has a diameter of 24 mm and is sufficient throughout the entire breastfeeding period. However, since every breast is unique, you can find more Medela breast caps in other sizes in our store.

The individual parts also include a plastic bottle and a stable stand. If you want to store the breast milk in the refrigerator or freezer, simply close the bottle with the enclosed multi-lid. If you want to give the breast milk to your baby immediately, you can attach the Calma breast milk teat included in the scope of delivery.

Breast milk teat Calma

With the special breast milk teat Calma, your baby can drink evenly, pause and breathe in its natural rhythm, just like when breastfeeding. In order for milk to flow during breastfeeding, your baby must create a vacuum through a combination of tongue and jaw movement. The Calma teat also creates this vacuum. This makes it particularly easy for your child to switch between breast and bottle.

The Harmony hand pump and breast milk teat are easy and intuitive to assemble and easy to clean after use. You can screw all Medela teats onto the pump body and use it as a bottle for feeding. The Calma breast milk teat fits on every Medela bottle and on commercially available standard bottles. All parts can be hygienically sterilized and conveniently cleaned in advance in the upper dishwasher basket or in the cutlery compartment of the dishwasher.
