WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

• The safety and accident prevention regulations applicable in your region, as well as legal regulations such as the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), must be observed additionally and take precedence in case of doubt. Also inform yourself about country-specific regulations and traffic rules if you want to take the Qeridoo on trips abroad. Ensure that the Qeridoo is only used by persons who are suitable for its operation as defined below. Users must have fully read and understood this user manual.
• Remove packaging materials and dispose of them in accordance with the environmental regulations applicable in your region.
• Never leave your animal unattended. The Qeridoo is not a children's toy and must not be misused as such. Accordingly, it is not permitted to attach the Qeridoo to a child's bicycle.
• This product is not suitable for skating.
• Any loads attached to the push handle and/or the rear and/or the sides impair the stability of the Qeridoo.
• Always ensure that the foot parking brake is applied when placing or removing the animal.
• Only install and use original accessories and spare parts manufactured or recommended by Qeridoo. The use of other products leads to exclusion of liability.
• For operation of the rear light, observe the manufacturer's enclosed information.
• Wear may occur at the connection point between the bicycle frame and the coupling. This does not constitute grounds for complaint. Do not use tools that have previously come into contact with conventional steel. Tiny steel particles could cause contact corrosion.

Before each use, make sure that all locks are engaged. Also, wrap the safety strap of the drawbar around the drawbar so that it does not hang down in the ready position and cannot catch on obstacles.

• Always ensure that the safety strap is fastened before using the Qeridoo in trailer mode. Additionally, ensure that it cannot get caught in moving parts of the towing bicycle.
• The Qeridoo must not be used after an accident! Even if no damage is visible externally, the protective effect may be impaired.
• Before every ride, convince yourself of the proper and technically flawless condition of the Qeridoo. Carry out a visual inspection and pay particular attention to the section "Am I ready to depart?".
• Do not use washers or similar at the connection point between the bicycle frame and the coupling, as this can impair the stability of the connection.
• Always ensure that the foot parking brake clicks audibly when applied. If it does not fully engage, the wheels are not securely locked and the Qeridoo can roll away.
• Always use both safety leashes in trailer mode. Safety leashes that are too long or loose can become a danger to your dog.
• Make sure your dog's claws are trimmed and do not have excessively sharp edges to avoid damage to the trailer from possible scratching.
• Keep all zippers, Velcro fasteners, and buckles closed during the ride.
• The roof of the Nachos is not suitable for transporting loads or as a seating surface for children.
• The safety leash is not suitable as a normal lead. Do not use the safety leash to secure your dog outside the trailer.
• When letting your dog out of the trailer, ensure that you have removed the safety leashes and that your dog is secured by your normal lead. Hasty, unsecured jumping out of the trailer can cause the trailer to tip over and create dangerous situations, especially in road traffic. 

Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
