Recaro Baby seat Privia - Mocca

The Privia baby car seat in mocha from Recaro is one of the lightest in its class, weighing only 3.7 kg. The innovative HERO safety system prevents the seat belts from twisting or cutting in and reliably protects your baby's neck, shoulders and head.

This is also shown by the result of the Stiftung Warentest test (test magazine - 06/2014 issue). Here Privia was awarded as test winner in the category group 0+. With Isofixbasis (Fix Basis) the test rating Very Good (1.3) was achieved, in conjunction with the vehicle belt the rating Good (1.9).

Comfort & Safety

With the HERO safety system, the shoulder pads, shoulder belts and headrest form a single unit. This ensures that the neck, head and shoulders are optimally protected and that the belts cannot twist. A reliable side impact protection system secures your baby in the event of an accident. The straps can be easily tightened with one hand.

The Privia infant carrier has a practical and retractable sun canopy. It is also softly padded and offers your offspring guaranteed seating comfort. For the very youngest, the included seat reducer comes in handy. Thanks to the ergonomic handle and the low own weight of only 3.7 kg, you can carry the baby shell with your child back-friendly.

Tip: The Privia baby car seat is not only suitable for travel by car, but also for air travel. It has been certified by TÜV Rheinland with an airplane approval.

Fastening in the car

You have the choice between two attachment options in the vehicle. You can fasten the seat with the vehicle's own 3-point seat belt and use the practical belt guides for this purpose. Alternatively, the seat can be anchored to the vehicle chassis with a click using the Isofix base, which is available separately and thus offers a high level of safety. Note: With separately available adapters, the Privia infant carrier is compatible with many stroller models as a Shop'n Drive system.
