Secure seating comfort for growing little explorers
In the Recaro car seat Axion, your little passenger from about 3 years up to approx. 12 years can sit comfortably. To keep up with your child's growth, it is equipped with an adjustable headrest. The attachment with the Isofix connectors in the car makes the seat particularly safe. Alternatively, the seat can also be secured with the vehicle belt.

The integrated Isofix connectors ensure reliable and secure attachment of your child in the car, allowing quick placement and optimal stabilisation of the car seat. Alternatively, the seat can be fixed with the 3-point vehicle belt. Thanks to the clearly marked belt guides, you can see exactly how the vehicle belt must run correctly to ensure your little one is truly safely strapped in. To ensure the belt always fits properly during the journey, the clever belt guidance system prevents slipping or twisting.
The padded headrest with vibration-absorbing material and soft memory foam provides the sensitive head area with the necessary support. The innovative trapezoidal side impact protection provides extra protection. These absorb energy in the event of a crash. The comfortable, pleasant seating experience in the Axion is rounded off with the soft padded seat foam, which adapts to your child’s body shape. If spills occur in the seat, you can restore the removable cover to its shine with a wash in the machine.

WARNING!
• To ensure your child is properly protected, it is absolutely necessary to use the child seat as described in the accompanying instructions. Please read the instructions completely before using the child seat!
• Approval according to UN R129/03
• Usage range:
100 - 150cm, approx. 3.5 to approx. 12 years, forward-facing with the vehicle's 3-point belt
• Installation:
With Isofix and use of 3-point belt system
Without Isofix and use of 3-point belt system
• The RECARO AXION 1 is delivered in two parts in one box. Please assemble the two parts into an AXION 1 child seat before installing it in the vehicle. The two parts must always be assembled into a complete child seat and must never be used alone or separately.
• Never secure your child or the child seat with a 2-point belt, as this can lead to serious injury or death in the event of an accident.
• Do NOT use the child seat for longer than 12 years. Over time, the quality of the material may change.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat!
Even if you leave the child alone in the car for just a few minutes, there is already a risk of heatstroke!
• The plastic parts of the child seat can heat up in sunlight. The child can burn themselves on it. Protect the child and the child seat from intense sunlight, e.g. by placing a light cloth over the seat or attaching an original summer cover.
• The child seat must never be used without a cover. The seat cover is a safety feature and may only be replaced by an original RECARO seat cover.
• As the child grows, the headrest of the child seat must be adjusted from time to time.
• Ensure that the vehicle belt is not twisted and that it lies flat against the child's body.
• The vehicle belt buckle must not rest directly against the lower belt guide. If the belt strap is too long, the child seat is not suitable for use in this position in the vehicle. Please contact your vehicle manufacturer if in doubt.
• Always secure the child seat correctly in the vehicle, even when it is not in use. Unsecured parts can injure other passengers and yourself even during emergency braking or a minor collision.
• The child seat should be replaced if it has been involved in an accident. An accident can damage the product without visible signs.
• Keep packaging materials out of reach of children, as there is a choking hazard!
