Comfort and safety

The Recaro Monza Nova 2 Seatfix child seat offers your child maximum comfort and protection in the car for a particularly long time. Thanks to the 11-way adjustable headrest, the child seat can be flexibly adjusted to the body size of your child and thus grows over many years. Thus, the seat can be used approximately from the age of 3 until the end of the child seat obligation (12 years). For easy adjustment of the correct height, the headrest was provided with a size scale. Since your child is secured in the seat with the vehicle's own 3-point harness, a harness guide has been integrated into the headrest to ensure the correct position of the harness at any height.

The soft seat foam with memory foam function adapts perfectly to the body shape of your child and ensures body support and ergonomically correct seating comfort. Thanks to the slightly V-shaped course of the seat, even larger children have enough freedom of movement in the shoulder area. The integrated air cushion provides comfortable head support. This can be inflated using a small hand pump and is therefore infinitely adjustable. For a safe sleeping position, the cushion can be deflated again via a valve. The resulting flat angle of inclination of the cushion ensures that the child's head cannot tip forward during sleep and protrude from the protective area of the headrest.

Maximum ventilation in the child seat is ensured by the innovative Recaro Air Circulation System: ergonomically grooved molded foam with ventilation channels combined with breathable covers provide the greatest possible air circulation for greater comfort on hot days.

Recaro Advanced Side Protection offers particularly strong protection in the event of a side crash. Stable side bolsters and additional side protectors made of polystyrene offer maximum protection in the event of a side impact. Slats incorporated into the seat shell effectively reduce the forces of a side impact. Reinforced armrests with foam padding increase protection in the hip area.

As a special extra, the child seat has been equipped with the patented Recaro Sound System. There are integrated speakers in the headrest. With the help of an aux cable, which is routed under the cover, an MP3 player can be connected. So your child can play his favorite songs or audio books on the road and the head remains between the safe headrest. Particularly practical: for storage of the mp3 player, a small pocket has been attached to the side of the seat.

Attachment

The Recaro Monza Nova 2 Seatfix features integrated ISOFIX locking arms, guaranteeing a quick and secure installation. Simply connect the tiltable Seatfix connectors to the ISOFIX device of your car and the child seat is securely installed. Especially in curves, the attachment with the Seatfix locking arms gives the seat maximum stability. Enclosed insertion aids facilitate the installation and at the same time protect the car upholstery from possible damage. However, the seat can also be easily fixed with the car's 3-point seat belt, allowing flexible use in vehicles without Isofix devices. The color-contrasting side cutouts allow for intuitively correct attachment in the process.

Care instructions

For a permanently hygienic use, the cover of the child seat can be removed and cleaned at 30 ° in the washing machine.
