Practical modular principle & barrier-free passage without tripping hazards
This screw-in grille is supplied as a kit that you assemble yourself, so the packaging is much smaller than with conventional grilles. The construction kit saves up to 60% packaging waste and thus makes a further contribution to environmental protection.
As it is firmly screwed to the wall, the screw-in grille does not require a frame (like comparable clamp grilles). In particular, the stair grille does not require a bottom rail and enables barrier-free access. This means there is no additional tripping hazard and the grille is particularly suitable for securing the top ends of stairs. In addition, the full width of the passageway is maintained, as no side rails are required for clamping, which would narrow the passageway.
Child-safe grille lock and many possible applications

Thanks to the fixed screw connection via a wall hinge, the grille can be swung open in both directions. This means that the grille can always be opened conveniently in the direction of travel. For use on stairways, however, we strongly recommend that the grille always swings away from the stairs to minimize danger. For this reason, a direction stopper is also included for safe use on stairs, which can only be opened to one side.
The screw gate combines all the relevant safety aspects that need to be considered for safety gates. With its height of 75 cm and the absence of crossbars that can be used as climbing aids, it makes it extremely difficult for small children to climb over. Its closed and rounded shapes prevent pinch gaps in the entire railing area and thus protect against trapped fingers even in the hinge area. In addition, only non-toxic, saliva- and sweat-proof materials have been used, which are classified as 100% safe for contact with children. The simple design, which supports error-free assembly, guarantees safe use in accordance with the EN 1930:2011 standard.
