The Classic Line complete bed from Schardt impresses with its functionality and a particularly comprehensive set of accessories that ensure comfort and a pleasant sleeping atmosphere. With the included conversion kit it can be transformed into a junior bed that accompanies your child into kindergarten age. The simple design with continuous bed heads and side rails made of solid, elegant beech wood blends discreetly into the children's room and does not lose its modern charm even during the long service life from baby to toddler.
The children's bed from Schardt's tried and tested Classic Line series offers enough space on the soft 70 x 140 cm mattress to slumber. . The 4-piece bed set with the soft bed linen (40 x 60 cm and 135 x 100 cm) together with the canopy (canopy pole included) and the soft nest (30 x 160 cm) makes the complete bed a comfortable place to sleep. This is also ensured by the chic Capucine design with the cheerful animals.
The cot can be easily adjusted and adapted to the needs of your baby. An important feature is the 3-way adjustable slatted frame. The top position makes it easier for you to put your baby in or out. They do not have to bend far down and can adopt a back-friendly posture. As soon as your baby can stand up, there is a danger that he will climb over the solid beech wood side grilles. Then you should move the slatted frame downwards and increase the distance between the mattress and the top edge of the grating. In the lowest position of the slatted frame, remove the 2 slip rungs in the side rails and allow your baby to climb into and out of the cot independently. However, it is still protected against falling at night.
Both the massive bed heads and the solid wood grilles can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The textile equipment made of 100% cotton can be machine washed at 40°.

WARNING - Be aware that placing the cot near open flames or strong heat sources, e.g. electric heaters, gas stoves, poses a hazard.
- WARNING - Do not use the cot if any parts are broken, torn, damaged or missing. Use only replacement parts approved by the manufacturer.
- WARNING - Objects that could serve as footholds or pose a risk of choking or strangulation, e.g. cords, curtain/tieback cords, etc., must not be left in the cot. The cot must not be placed near such objects.
- WARNING - Never use more than one mattress in the cot.
- As soon as the child is old enough to sit up, the lowest position of the base is the safest. Use the base only in this position.
- The chosen mattress must be thick enough so that the height to be overcome (mattress surface to top edge of the rail) is at least 50 cm in the lowest position of the base and at least 20 cm in the highest position of the base.
Maximum mattress height 10 cm.
- Please use a mattress with the dimensions: length 120 cm / 140 cm width 60 cm / 70 cm for this cot.
- The length and width of the mattress must allow a maximum gap of 30 mm between the mattress and the side and end parts.
- The fittings for assembly must always be properly secured.
Please check regularly and tighten if necessary.
- To prevent falls, do not use the cot for a child who is able to climb out.
- When removing the drop-side bars, always remove all drop-side bars to avoid inadmissible opening dimensions.
- Important: Do not push the bed on its feet, but lift it for transport.
Bumper
WARNING! Ensure that the fastenings (e.g. ties) remain securely attached to the cot.
WARNING! Remove the bumper as soon as the child can sit unaided.
Once children can sit or stand upright without help, they often use the bumper as a climbing frame, which can cause them to fall out of the cot.
