The Swandoo Rear-facing Car Seat Marie5 i-Size from birth - 4 years (40 cm - 105 cm, 18 kg) 360° rotatable incl. newborn insert, adjustable headrest & Isofix is the improved successor to the Swandoo Marie 3 Car Seat.

Marie5 features a unique orbital rotation that allows you to easily and comfortably buckle your child into the car seat when getting in and out. Thanks to the integrated Child Direction Assistance, children under a height of 76 cm cannot be placed in a forward-facing position. This helps parents keep their children rear-facing in the car for the first 15 months, thus meeting the required safety standards.

Incorrect installation and use of car seats with loose straps is still a major problem. To avoid misuse, Swandoo developed the Harness+. This intuitive feature helps parents adjust the straps correctly and offers maximum safety for your precious little one. The padding on the 3-point harness at the shoulders prevents uncomfortable pressure or chafing. The magnetic strap clips simplify placing your child in the seat. Thanks to the magnetic shoulder pads and the innovative spring-loaded crotch pad, securing your child becomes child's play.

Especially practical: The rear-facing seat has a 360° rotation feature, allowing you to turn it completely. This protects your back, makes placing, buckling, and lifting your little one easier, and it can be rotated into the correct driving position in seconds. The seat can be rotated in all 4 recline positions.

Super safe & comfortable on tour

For the smallest, there is also a growth-adapting newborn insert included. This ensures better positioning and offers additional protection for babies up to 3 months. It can be easily removed later.

The car seat is designed to absorb energy and reduce impact forces. Side impact protection with EPP (expanded polypropylene) is already integrated into the seat. With the extra attachable side impact protection, forces in the event of a side crash are further reduced. This so-called Side Impact Buddy can be attached to the window side of the infant car seat.

During the usage period, the car seat must keep up with many growth spurts of your little one: for this, you can adjust the memory foam headrest 11 times in height. To ensure the headrest is at the correct height, it is equipped with a side eye level indicator. It shows at which height your child's eyes should be for the correct ergonomic seating position. For an ideal rest and recline position, the position can be adjusted 4 times. This is possible both forward and rear-facing. The seat also features air circulation for optimal ventilation.

The car seat cover is breathable, easy to remove, and machine washable at 30°C.

Simple & secure installation in the car

The Swandoo car seat is easily and very securely installed with the Isofix connectors and a release button to prevent accidental unlocking. Additionally, the seat is equipped with a reinforced, height-adjustable support leg as a third anchorage point for extra safety.
