The filling of the Theraline Original nursing pillow consists of a pure natural spelt husk filling. Spelt husk scores particularly highly thanks to its excellent breathability and moisture absorption. This means that you and your baby won't sweat so quickly.
Although the filling of the pillow is a little heavier, it offers very good support and retains its shape for a long time. Spelt husk is adaptable and adapts particularly well to your baby and you. This means that your baby always lies comfortably and securely and offers you great support for the body.
High-quality natural filling
The 100% spelt chaff filling of the Theraline nursing pillow has been thoroughly cleaned, dedusted and heat-treated. This means that every pillow contains a high-quality, natural filling. The ticking cover complies with the Oekotex standard. Nevertheless, spelt husk is only recommended for allergy sufferers with reservations.
Protective cover for your pillow
If a mishap occurs during feeding or breastfeeding or if the baby spits up, something can easily end up on the nursing pillow. To avoid having to put the whole pillow in the washing machine, a replacement cover for the pillow is worth its weight in gold. WARNING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning! The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) has determined that a risk from mould spores in pillows with chaff fillings cannot be completely excluded. Risk groups include infants, allergy sufferers, bedridden persons, and people with weakened immune systems. The pillow should not be used permanently as a sleeping or positioning pillow. In particular, long-term moisture should be avoided. Warning: The original Theraline spelt chaff pillows undergo an elaborate heat treatment before delivery to kill any possible microorganisms. We recommend ventilating and drying your pillow regularly if used frequently. Additionally, the filling should be replaced approximately every 2 years depending on use.
CAUTION RISK TO CHILDREN
• Plastic bags and paper bags can be fatal traps. Keep packaging away from children.
• Check your nursing pillow regularly and before first use for damaged areas and loose beads. Children could swallow or inhale these.
• Every pillow can pose a choking hazard to infants: for example, pillows can slip over the face during sleep. Therefore, never leave your baby unattended for long periods even with the original Theraline nursing pillow.
• Use as a bed bumper is only permitted after the child’s first birthday.
