Q: Who is behind Zamboo?

Zamboo is Babyartikel.de's own brand. The products are manufactured by KP Family International GmbH, based in Aschheim. The range focuses on on-the-go accessories, especially footmuffs, wrap blankets, and sun and rain protection for strollers, lightweight strollers and infant car seats.

Zamboo offers on-the-go accessories for babies – above all footmuffs, wrap blankets, and sun and rain covers that often fit strollers, lightweight strollers and infant car seats universally.

How to find the right Zamboo footmuff and weather protection

Universal or model-specific: which Zamboo accessories fit?

Zamboo offers two kinds of accessories: universal items that fit many strollers, lightweight strollers or infant car seats, and items made for specific models. Universal designs include, for example, the Universal Sheepskin Footmuff, the Universal Rain Cover for Infant Car Seats and the Universal Summer Seat Liner. That's handy if you want to use accessories on more than one stroller or switch to a different stroller later on.

The Footmuff for Joie Lightweight Strollers, on the other hand, is tailored to specific models such as the Litetrax 4, Litetrax 3, Mytrax and Chrome. Whether an item fits depends mainly on the seat shape and harness system. So before you buy, check the fit details on the product page: they tell you which models and harnesses (3- or 5-point harness) the item is designed for.

Zamboo footmuffs and wrap blankets for cold days

For winter, Zamboo offers footmuffs for strollers and lightweight strollers as well as wrap blankets and footmuffs for infant car seats and stroller bassinets. Which option is right depends on where your child sits or lies.

Footmuffs for strollers and lightweight strollers

The Footmuff for Joie Lightweight Strollers has a cozy teddy fleece lining and a water- and wind-resistant outer fabric. With seven staggered harness slots, it works with 3- and 5-point harnesses and grows with your child a little. A reflective strip at the foot end improves visibility during the darker months, and it's machine washable at 40 °C.

If you want something especially warm, go for the Universal Sheepskin Footmuff: it's lined with genuine merino sheepskin and has nine harness slots to fit almost any stroller seat or lightweight stroller. The all-around zipper lets you convert it into a blanket or seat liner, so you can use it all year round. Wash sheepskin by hand at no more than 30 °C with a wool or fur detergent.

Wrap blankets for infant car seats and stroller bassinets

The Deluxe Wrap Blanket is designed for infant car seats, for example from Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, Hauck or ABC Design, and for the stroller bassinet. It has a warming thermal fleece lining, a hood and several harness slots for 3- and 5-point harnesses, through which the infant car seat's harness is threaded. It isn't suitable for infant car seats with a permanently attached 5-point harness; the product page lists which models are affected. At home, it also doubles as a play mat or changing pad and is washable at 40 °C.

Sun, rain and insect protection from Zamboo

For sun, rain and insects, Zamboo has accessories for both the stroller and the infant car seat. Here, too, many items are designed to fit universally.

Protection for strollers and lightweight strollers

For sunny days, there are sunshades and other sun protection that give your child shade in the seat. During showers, a stroller rain cover keeps the seat dry, and an insect net helps keep mosquitoes away on a summer evening in the park.

Rain cover for the infant car seat

The Universal Rain Cover for Infant Car Seats fits infant car seats from brands such as Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, Römer, Joie or Kiddy. Mesh panels on the sides let air in, and the front window opens with a hook-and-loop fastener – handy on the short walk from the car to your front door. Zamboo also carries insect nets for infant car seats.

Summer seat liners and small accessories

In hot weather, a seat liner is meant to keep your child from sweating directly against the seat fabric. The Universal Summer Seat Liner fits strollers, lightweight strollers, car seats and infant car seats. Its 3D honeycomb structure is designed to improve air circulation, although it can't completely prevent sweating on very hot days. For infant car seats and rear-facing car seats, there's also the Cool & Dry seat liner. Both are washable at 30 °C.

Stroller organizers, a cup holder, a hand muff and spare parts round out the stroller range.

Frequently asked questions about Zamboo

Zamboo is Babyartikel.de's own brand. The products are manufactured by KP Family International GmbH, based in Aschheim. The range focuses on on-the-go accessories, especially footmuffs, wrap blankets, and sun and rain protection for strollers, lightweight strollers and infant car seats.

Many Zamboo items are designed to fit universally on a wide range of strollers, lightweight strollers or infant car seats; some are made for specific models. What matters is the seat shape and the harness system. Each product page tells you which models and harnesses (3- or 5-point harness) an item is designed for and whether there are exceptions, such as infant car seats with a permanently attached harness.

For strollers and lightweight strollers, a footmuff is the usual choice; for infant car seats and stroller bassinets, a wrap blanket or a footmuff made specifically for the infant car seat. Zamboo footmuffs for strollers and lightweight strollers are designed for the larger seat and for 3- or 5-point harnesses. The Deluxe Wrap Blanket is tailored to the infant car seat: the infant car seat's harness is threaded through the harness slots, and then the blanket is wrapped around your baby.

For summer, Zamboo offers sunshades and other sun protection for the stroller, insect nets and seat liners with a breathable 3D honeycomb structure. The Universal Summer Seat Liner fits strollers, lightweight strollers, car seats and infant car seats, while the Cool & Dry seat liner is designed for infant car seats and rear-facing car seats. Insect nets are available for both the stroller and the infant car seat.
