That is exactly why a convertible stroller is often also described as a 2-in-1 stroller.

What to look for when buying a convertible stroller

Intended use: Think about whether you will mainly use the stroller in the city, for everyday use, or also on uneven ground.
Wheels: Small wheels make the stroller easier to maneuver, while larger wheels or air-filled tires offer more comfort on uneven surfaces.
Handling: Pay attention to the weight and folded size if you often need to carry the stroller, lift it into the car, or store it in a space-saving way.
Comfort for your baby: Look for a spacious carrycot that gives your baby room to stretch out comfortably, an extendable canopy, and mesh windows for pleasant ventilation.
