What's new about the Salsa 4 Air in the 2024 collection?
The Salsa 4 Air from the 2023 collection has been further improved this year. The following features are new in 2024: When folding the frame, the seat can now stay on the frame in both directions. Previously, this was only possible in one direction. A practical organizer is now included with every carrycot. You can attach this to the front of the carrycot or to the push handle. In addition, every carrycot is now equipped with the innovative CozyCloud baby carriage mattress. All mesh fabrics on the ventilation openings are now even more finely woven. This gives you a better view of your baby and even the smallest mosquitoes can no longer get inside.

Cuddly carrycot for newborns
The carrycot is equipped with the particularly high-quality, soft and ergonomic CozyCloud mattress and provides a very comfortable bed for your newborn baby. The adjustable lying surface offers extra comfort, which you can fold up at the back of the carrycot. The new organizer is stored in the front section. This offers space for your cell phone, wallet and much more. You can also remove the small bag and attach it to the push bar.
The new CozyCloud mattress has been specially developed for use in the carrycot for newborns. So you can be sure that your baby will have a healthy and restful sleep. The mattress ensures an excellent sleeping climate. It has breathable cold foam with vertical air channels. The adjusted firmness level ensures optimum lying comfort from head to spine. The wedge-shaped head end raises the head slightly and thus supports a healthy sleeping position. All materials are allergy-friendly and are subject to the strictest quality controls.
Your baby is protected by the matching carrycot cover and a large canopy. The canopy is equipped with UV protection 50+. For warm days, there is an integrated ventilation window (made of particularly fine mesh) on the canopy and one at the head end of the carrycot. This means that the carrycot is always pleasantly ventilated and heat build-up is avoided.
If the carrycot is too bulky for your next restaurant visit, simply remove the carrycot and carry it by hand using the sturdy carrying handle. The practical memory function is particularly convenient and even safer: you can unlock the holders one after the other so that you always have one hand free to hold the carrying handle. If you have little space for transportation in the car, you can simply fold the carrycot.
Moving on in the pushchair
As soon as your child can sit, you can attach the carrycot. This is quick and easy. Just like the carrycot, the seat can be attached in both directions. This allows you to keep a close eye on your little one and they can look into your familiar face. Curious explorers face forward and explore the world. This makes them tired, which is why the backrest and footrest are multi-adjustable. A well-earned nap can be taken in a flat reclining position.
A padded 5-point harness and a safety bar ensure safety. Practical: For easy access, you can simply fold up the bar or remove it completely. The large canopy protects against wind and weather. With UV protection 50+, it reliably protects your child's sensitive skin. Thanks to the mesh viewing and ventilation window, you can keep an eye on your child at all times.
The Salsa 4 Air also has a few highlights for parents: The push bar is height-adjustable and allows mom and dad to take strolls in a comfortable posture. The Salsa is also suitable for very tall parents, as it offers plenty of legroom between the rear wheels. The super spacious shopping basket makes everyday life even easier. Great ride comfort & small folding size
The Salsa 4 Air rides on large pneumatic wheels. Thanks to the high-quality tires, you can get along perfectly with the stroller on any surface. On particularly uneven terrain, you can lock the front wheel so that it does not block and you can make rapid progress. In addition to the soft pneumatic tires, the central suspension also absorbs small and large bumps. After the tour, you can fold up the stroller quickly and easily. You can also remove the wheels for a particularly small folding size. This is super easy at the touch of a button. So you can really get the Salsa into any trunk.
Tulip infant car seat already included
This set includes the matching Tulip infant car seat Berry (incl. Maxi-Cosi adapter).
The Tulip infant car seat from ABC Design offers your little one optimum protection during the car journey. It also cuts a fine figure on the ABC Design baby carriages. Switching from the car to the baby carriage frame is quick and easy. The car seat complies with the latest i-Size (R129) safety standard and weighs just 3.95 kg.

High level of safety and comfort
The side impact protection and the 3-point harness system ensure optimum safety. You can adjust the harness system and headrest to the size of your child as they grow. The integrated seat reducer offers optimum support at all times thanks to the removable padding. The sun canopy with UV protection 50+ protects against the sun on hot days.
After the car journey, the infant car seat can be attached to all ABC Design baby carriages in just a few simple steps. The perfect travel system with very little effort. The adapter required for this is included in this set. The base of the infant car seat is slightly rounded. This allows your little one to rock gently and comfortably to sleep.
Easy to attach in the car
You can attach the Tulip infant car seat quickly and easily using your car's 3-point seat belt. As with all infant car seats, it is installed in the opposite direction to the direction of travel.
If you often travel by car, we recommend purchasing the optional Isofix base for the Tulip infant car seat (available separately in our store). With this, you don't have to strap the infant car seat in every time, but simply place it on the Isofix base that is already installed. This saves you a lot of time and effort. It also helps enormously to avoid mistakes when attaching the car seat. A practical color indicator immediately shows you the correct installation.

• Use only approved accessories from your manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• Use only the mattress supplied and do not add an additional mattress to the carry cot.
• Regularly check the carrying straps and base for damage.
• If carrying loops are attached to your carry cot, they must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure that your child’s head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body.
Baby Car Seat
Do not use the child seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of category i-Size.
It is approved according to Regulation No. 129 for use on vehicle seats that are suitable for i-Size restraint systems as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle handbook.
If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approximately 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is suitable for a “universal” child restraint system of this age group.
• This child restraint system is classified under stricter conditions as “universal” than earlier models that do not carry this notice.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or seller of the child restraint system.
• The safety of the child seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the seat must be pushed as far back as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. Deactivate the airbag if necessary (consult your car dealer).
• The backrest of the front passenger seat must be set to the fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be caught in the car door or in folding seats; no heavy objects may lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby securely against the immense forces released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Ensure that the car safety belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Ensure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimum comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy. This supports healthy development.
• To avoid exposing your child to unnecessary heat stress, the baby seat should not be exposed to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even for short journeys.

• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take regular breaks on long journeys so that your child can recover from the strain of the trip outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully and follow the assembly instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to approximately 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).

• Ensure the seat is not damaged by being caught in the car door, rotating car seats, objects placed on the child seat (e.g. luggage) or similar.
• Do not make any changes to your child seat. The safety of the seat could be compromised.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage to the child car seat may have occurred that is not necessarily obvious. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Ensure all luggage and objects that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or sudden braking are properly secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child in it on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.

• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• Since the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with covers recommended by the manufacturer.

• Consult your vehicle handbook for the position of the Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.
