Carrycot for newborns
With the Salsa Run, your child accompanies you from the very beginning on your daily running rounds or skating tours. At first, the foldable carrycot is simply and quickly attached, and your baby can make themselves comfortable on the ergonomic CozyCloud mattress. The mattress features breathable cold foam with vertical air channels. The adapted firmness ensures optimal lying comfort from head to spine. The protective cover and the large hood provide shielding and sun protection with UV protection 50+. Two large, closable mesh windows ensure ideal ventilation on warm days and prevent heat build-up in the stroller. An extra plus in comfort is the adjustable lying surface, which you can fold up at the rear area of the carrycot. In the front area, the organiser is stored, offering space for your mobile phone, wallet, and much more. You can also remove the small bag and attach it to the handlebar. If the stroller is too bulky for the next café visit, simply remove the carrycot and carry it by hand using the sturdy carry handle. Particularly comfortable is the practical memory function: you can unlock the mounts one after the other, so you always have one hand free to hold the carry handle. Sports seat from approx. 6 months
You attach the sports seat to the Salsa Run as soon as your child can sit independently. The padded seat unit is reversible, so you can choose whether your child looks at your familiar face or discovers the world. The smart 5-point harness system is especially easy to adjust thanks to stepless, front-accessible strap adjustment. The comfortably padded shoulder straps stand slightly away from the backrest, making it much easier to seat your baby. The practical magnetic buckle with quick closure mechanism additionally facilitates fastening. You can adjust the backrest to a flat lying position so your child can have a restful nap on the go. The footrest is height-adjustable and washable. The large, fold-out hood with UV protection 50+ is water-repellent and protects your child from sun rays and rain. Through the mesh viewing and ventilation window, you always have your child in sight. The safety bar can be opened for getting in and out or completely removed.

Of course, the Salsa Run also has some comfortable highlights for parents: The adjustable handlebar can be quickly adapted to your height. On the handlebar grip, there is a lockable handbrake that makes downhill rides even safer. Powerful disc brakes, a wrist strap loop, and reflector strips complete the safety for your baby in the Salsa Run. The three large, removable air wheels with lockable front wheel, wheel suspension, and ball bearings ensure a smooth ride even on uneven terrain. Everything you need on the go fits in the spacious shopping basket. For transport, the Salsa Run can be easily folded compactly – this is even possible with the sports seat attached. The Tulip infant car seat from ABC Design offers your little one optimal protection during car journeys. It also looks good on ABC Design strollers. The switch from car to stroller frame is simple and quick. The car seat complies with the latest safety standard i-Size (R129) and weighs just 3.95 kg.

Optimal safety is ensured by side impact protection and the 3-point harness system. You can adjust the growing harness system and headrest to your child's size. After the car journey, the infant car seat can be attached to all ABC Design strollers in just a few steps. The perfect travel system with very little effort. The required adapter is included in this set. The base of the infant car seat is slightly rounded, so your little one can gently and comfortably rock to sleep.
You attach the Tulip infant car seat quickly and easily with your car's 3-point belt. Installation is done rear-facing as with all infant car seats.
If you often travel by car, it is recommended to purchase the optional ISOFIX base for the Tulip infant car seat (available separately in our shop). With this, you don't have to fasten the infant car seat every time, but simply place it on the already installed ISOFIX base. This saves you a lot of time and effort. Additionally, it helps greatly to avoid errors during attachment. A practical colour indicator immediately shows you the correct installation.

For use as a sports stroller

• The seat unit must always be placed in the most upright position and facing forward when running/jogging or skating!
• The swivel function of the front wheel(s) must always be locked when running/jogging or skating.
Do not use the item for running/jogging or skating if it is fitted with a car seat or carrycot.
• The child in the stroller must be dressed warmer than the user and must be protected from rain or UV radiation.
• It is recommended that the adult wear a reflective vest or clothing when running/skating in or near traffic.
• Jogging and skating: It is advisable to protect your child with suitable protective equipment (e.g., a helmet).
• Check all parts of the stroller for integrity and function before sporting use.
• The stroller is not suitable for children under 9 months who are not yet able to sit up without support - risk to the child's health and physical development.
• Loose items can fall out of the basket.
Carrycot
• This product is suitable for a child who cannot sit independently, cannot turn around and cannot push up on their hands and knees. Maximum child weight: 9 kg
Never use this carrycot on a stand
• Use only on a firm, horizontal, dry surface.
• Do not allow other children to play unsupervised near the carrycot.
• Do not use the carrycot if parts are broken, torn or missing.
• Do not leave the flexible carrying handles inside the carrycot.
• Use only approved accessories from your manufacturer.
• Keep this product away from fire and other heat sources.
• Use only the mattress supplied and do not use an additional mattress in the carrycot.
• Regularly check the carrying straps and base for damage.
• If your carrycot has carrying loops attached, these must not be inside the stroller attachment during use.
• Ensure that your child's head is always positioned higher than the rest of the body.
Infant car seat
Do not use the child seat on a seat with an active front airbag.
This is a child restraint system of category i-Size.
It is approved according to regulation No. 129 for use on vehicle seats that are specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle manual as suitable for i-Size restraint systems.
In case of doubt, the manufacturer of the child restraint system or the retailer can be consulted. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to about 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).
• Correct installation is likely if the vehicle manufacturer states in the vehicle manual that the vehicle is suitable for a "universal" child restraint device for this age group.
• This child restraint device is classified under stricter conditions as "universal" than earlier models that do not carry this notice.
• In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer or the seller of the child restraint system.
• The safety of the child seat is guaranteed by the manufacturer only if used by the first purchaser. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy a second-hand seat.
• The child car seat should not be used more than 5 years after purchase. The quality of the seat may be imperceptibly impaired by heavy use.
• Use the child seat only on forward-facing car seats.
• Folding car seats must be securely locked.
• If the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger seat must be pushed back as far as possible.
• The child seat must not be used on car seats with airbag protection. Deactivate the airbag if necessary (ask your car dealer).
• The backrest of the passenger seat must be set to a fully upright position. An adjustable headrest must be pushed to the lowest position.
• The child seat must not be trapped in the car door or in folding seats; no heavy objects should lie on the child seat.
• Never hold your baby on your lap in the car. You cannot hold your baby against the enormous forces that can be released in an accident.
• Never place the car belt around yourself and the child.
• No modifications may be made to the child seat or the belts.
• Make sure that the car safety belt is not damaged and is fully functional.
• All belts intended to secure the restraint system must be tightened. The belts holding the child must be fitted tightly. Make sure these belts are not twisted.
• Never leave your baby in the child seat for too long. Although the child seat offers optimal comfort, your child must regularly lie on their tummy. This supports healthy development.
• To avoid exposing your child to unnecessary heat stress, do not expose the baby seat to direct sunlight when not in use. Parts of the child seat could become hot and burn your child.
• Use the child seat even on short trips.

• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat or in the car.
• Set a good example and always fasten your seatbelt.
• Teach your child never to play with the buckle.
• Take breaks on long journeys so your child has the opportunity to recover from the strain of travel outside the vehicle.
• To ensure your child’s safety, please read these instructions carefully and follow the assembly instructions exactly.
• The child seat is tested and approved according to the European safety standard ECE R129. It is suitable for babies and children from birth up to about 15 months (0-13 kg body weight).

• The child seat can be secured with a three-point automatic belt on both the front passenger seat and the rear seats, provided this complies with regulation ECE R16 or an equivalent standard.

• Do not make any modifications to your child seat. Safety could be compromised.
• After an accident (even at low impact speeds over 10 km/h), damage may have occurred to the child car seat that is not necessarily visible. In this case, the child car seat must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• We recommend checking before purchasing the child seat whether it can be properly installed.
• Make sure all luggage and items that could injure occupants in the event of an accident or heavy braking are properly secured.
• Never place the child seat with the child on an elevated surface such as a table, work surface, bed or shopping trolley.
The seat with the baby inside could fall.
• The instruction manual should be kept in the designated storage compartment of the child seat.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the fabric cover.
• Since the fabric covers are an essential part of the restraint system, they may only be replaced with those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the instruction manual in the designated compartment.
• Refer to your vehicle manual for the location of Isofix anchorages and the correct installation of i-Size restraint systems.
