If your little one wants to be soothed or nursed at night, you can have them very close to your bed with the babybay Maxi co-sleeper - white lacquered. The height of the crib is infinitely adjustable so that it is flush with your bed. This means you can comfortably take your little one over to you. With a lying surface of 89 × 51 cm, it offers your little one extra space or can also be used for twins.
To prevent the crib from slipping away, you can easily attach it to your bed without tools using the included adjustable fastening brackets. From co-sleeper to bassinet
The closing gate for co-sleeper Maxi & Boxspring - White lacquered from babybay transforms your co-sleeper into a bassinet. It can be used to securely close the open side so that your little one lies safely in the crib and cannot fall out. Once your little one has fallen asleep, the co-sleeper can be silently detached from the bed and the rail attached. This way, your baby won't wake up. With the separately available castors, the bassinet can be moved to any room.
To attach the rail, simply snap it into the lying surface and lock it in place at the top with the two spring-loaded clips. Like the babybay co-sleeper itself, the rail can be infinitely adjusted. The locking rail is made of antibacterial, antistatic, natural solid beech wood from local, sustainably managed forests.

WARNING - Placing additional objects inside the product may lead to suffocation.
WARNING - Do not place the product near another product that could pose a choking or risk of strangulation, e.g. cords, roller/blind cords, etc.
WARNING - Do not use more than one mattress in the product.
WARNING - To avoid the risk of strangulation for your child, the connection system with the adult bed must always be kept away from and outside the cot.
WARNING - If the baby becomes too agile, we recommend using the optional safety rail.
WARNING - babybay must never be used unattached from the parents’ bed without the optional safety rail.

• Never place babybay near open flames or other strong heat sources such as electric heaters, gas stoves, etc.
• To clean the “painted” babybay, simply wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners under any circumstances.
• The mattress cover can be removed and washed according to the instructions. The mattress core is not washable.
• Regularly turn and air your mattress to prevent mould stains.
• We only accept warranty claims if the above care instructions have been followed.
• Use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
Do not attach any accessories to the product that were not supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not adjust the height of the cot with the child inside.

• Beech wood is a natural product; it is individual and unique in its colour and structure.
Therefore, colour variations may occur even within one product. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause colour deviations.
• During use, ensure that bedding, blankets, etc. do not get into the cot.
• Bedding and soft blankets can pose a choking hazard for newborns. Avoid placing pillows or similar items under the newborn to provide better comfort during sleep.
• Do NOT use babybay if any part is missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Tobi GmbH & Co.KG for spare parts and instructions if necessary. Do NOT use makeshift parts.
Babybay may only be used again after proper repair.
• Only use original connection systems approved by Tobi GmbH & Co.KG for this model.
• Side cots must never be used in an inclined position.
• To prevent the risk of external suffocation by trapping, the side cot must be securely attached to the adult bed using the connection system.
• There must never be a gap between the babybay mattress and the adult bed mattress.
• Check the fastening condition of the connection system before each use by pulling the side cot away from the adult bed.
• Do NOT use babybay if there is a gap between the side cot and the adult bed.
• Gaps should not be filled with pillows, blankets, or other objects.
• Original model: Always use an original and approved mattress from Tobi GmbH & Co.KG measuring 81cm x 41.5cm with a maximum thickness of 5cm.
• Maxi model: Always use an original and approved mattress from Tobi GmbH & Co.KG measuring 89cm x 49.5cm with a maximum thickness of 6cm.
Safety Rail
To clean the “painted” babybays, wiping with a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- You can remove the mattress cover and wash it at 40°C. The mattress core and nest bumpers are washable by hand up to 30°C.
- Ensure the mattress core is thoroughly dried after washing. The coconut mattress core is not washable.
- Regularly turn and air your mattress to prevent mould stains.
- Warranty claims are only accepted if the above care instructions have been followed.
- Babybay must be placed on a flat surface.
- Ensure that small children do not play unsupervised near babybay.
- Never leave your baby lying or sleeping unattended in babybay.
- When using the roller set, ensure the brake wheels are engaged when the child is unattended in the bassinet.
- Babybay must be attached to the parents’ bed using the designated holders.
- When the child can sit up, kneel, or pull themselves up, babybay must no longer be used for sleeping.
- All fittings must always be properly secured.
- Screws must not be loose as the child could get trapped or clothing items (e.g. cords, necklaces, or ribbons for pacifiers) could catch, posing a risk of strangulation.
- Babybay must not be used if any part is broken, torn off, or missing until proper repair has been carried out.
- Only mattresses and accessories approved by Tobi GmbH & Co.KG may be used.
- Never place babybay near open flames or other strong heat sources such as electric heaters, gas stoves, etc.

Nest Bumper
WARNING! Ensure that the fastening (e.g. ties) remains securely attached to the cot.
WARNING! Remove the nest bumper as soon as the child can sit unaided. As soon as children can sit or stand upright without assistance, they often use the nest bumper as a climbing frame, which can lead to falls from the cot.
WARNING! Keep away from fire.
WARNING! Keep plastic packaging away from children to prevent suffocation.
• Check whether it is possible to secure all cords to the cot.
• The nest bumper must be attached to the bars with the cords.
