From bedside crib to bassinet
With the closure rail for bedside crib Original & Midi - oiled core beech, you can close the open side of your babybay so that your little one lies safely and cannot fall out. Once your baby has fallen asleep, the rail can be attached silently so they are not woken. With the separately available wheels, the bedside crib transforms into a fully functional bassinet and can be moved into any room. This way, your newborn is always close to you during the day.
The closure rail locks into the lying surface with just one hand and is secured at the top with two spring-loaded clamps. Like the babybay bedside crib itself, the rail can be steplessly adjusted in height. The closure rail is made of natural, antibacterial, and antistatic solid beech wood from local, sustainably managed forests.

WARN- & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
For the care of the "lacquered" babybays, wiping with a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Under no circumstances use abrasive agents.
- You can remove the mattress cover and wash it at 40°C. The mattress core and the nest are washable by hand up to 30°C.
- Make sure that the mattress core is thoroughly dried after washing. The coconut mattress core is not washable.
- Turn and air your mattress regularly to prevent mildew.
- Warranties are only accepted by us if the care instructions described above have been followed.
- babybay must be placed on a flat surface.
- Make sure that small children do not play unsupervised near babybay.
- Never leave your baby unattended in babybay lying down or sleeping.
- When using the roller set, make sure that the brake wheels are engaged when the child is unattended in the cot.
- Babybay must be attached to the parents' bed with the holders provided for this purpose.
- When the child can sit up, kneel or pull themselves up, babybay must no longer be used for sleeping for this child.
- All fittings must always be properly secured.
- Screws must not be loose, as the child could get caught on them or clothing items (e.g. cords, necklaces or ribbons for pacifiers, etc.) could get caught and thus create a risk of strangulation.
- Babybay must not be used if any part is broken, torn off or missing until proper repair has been carried out.
- Only mattresses and accessories approved by Tobi GmbH & Co.KG may be used.
- Never place babybay near open fire or other strong heat sources such as electric heaters, gas stoves, etc.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
