Do not use second-hand products if their history is unknown. Some parts may be broken, torn, or missing.
Replace the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix if it has been subjected to heavy stress in an accident: your child's safety can no longer be guaranteed in this case.
For your child's safety, it is extremely important that the vehicle seat belt is always fastened correctly.
Do not make any modifications to the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat, as these could have dangerous consequences.
Never leave your child unattended in the vehicle.
Always buckle your child in with the vehicle seat belt.
Ensure the lap belt runs as low as possible below the abdomen so that the pelvis is well supported.
Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the correct height.
Before each use, ensure that the belts are neither damaged nor twisted.
Empty your child's trouser or jacket pockets so that no objects are trapped between your child's body and the seat belt. In an accident, these could cause injuries.

The ISOFIX connection was designed to enable safe and easy installation of child restraint systems. Not all vehicles are equipped with it; generally, newer models tend to have this connection. A complete list of vehicles can be found at www.bebeconfort.com.
Use the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat only on a forward-facing seat with a self-tightening three-point seat belt approved according to ECE R16 or a comparable standard. Do NOT use a two-point belt.
Before purchase, ensure that the child car seat is suitable for your vehicle.
Even if you do not use the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat, it should always be secured with the vehicle seat belt.
Depending on national legislation, the child car seat is installed on the rear seat of the vehicle or, exceptionally, on the front seat (in France:
according to the provisions of Regulation 91-1321 of 27.12.1991). If you install the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix on the passenger seat, the airbag of this seat may need to be deactivated or the passenger seat pushed as far back as possible. Please consult your vehicle manual for details!
Ensure that the folding backrest is locked and that the backrest of the bench is always in a vertical position.
Avoid overloading the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat with luggage and prevent trapping when adjusting the seat or closing the doors.
Always secure luggage or other loose items.
Cover the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat when parking your vehicle in direct sunlight. Otherwise, the cover may discolour and the plastic parts may become too hot for your child's skin.
The rigid parts and plastic elements of a child restraint system must be installed so that they cannot be trapped under a movable seat or in the vehicle door under normal operating conditions.
Do not use the child restraint system without the corresponding cover. Do not replace the seat cover with another unless recommended by the manufacturer, as the cover directly affects the performance of the restraint system.
When installing with belts, ensure that the belts securing the seat in the car are tightly tensioned.
