Use the child car seat Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix exclusively in vehicles.
We recommend regularly checking the expanded polystyrene (EPS) parts for damage.
Do not use second-hand products with unknown history. Some parts could be broken, torn, or missing.
Replace the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix if it has been subjected to severe stresses in an accident: the safety of your child can no longer be guaranteed in this case.
For your child's safety, it is extremely important that the vehicle seat belt is always worn correctly.
Do not make any modifications to the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat, as these could have dangerous consequences.
Never leave your child unattended in the vehicle.
Always fasten your child with the vehicle seat belt.
Ensure the lap belt runs as low as possible beneath the abdomen to properly support the pelvis.
Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the correct height.
Before each use, check that the belts are neither damaged nor twisted.
Empty the pockets of your child’s trousers or jacket to prevent objects from becoming trapped between your child’s body and the seat belt. In an accident, these could cause injuries.
Teach your child not to play with the vehicle seat belt buckle and to always rest their head against the headrest.
The Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix is equipped with the connecting arms that hook into the ISOFIX anchors.
The ISOFIX connection was designed to enable safe and easy installation of child restraint systems. Not all vehicles are equipped with it; generally, newer models have this connection. A complete list of vehicles can be found at www.bebeconfort.com.
Use the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat only on a forward-facing seat with a self-tightening three-point seat belt approved according to ECE R16 or an equivalent standard. Do NOT use a belt with a two-point restraint.
Before purchase, make sure the child car seat is suitable for your vehicle.
Even if you do not use the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat, it should always be secured with the vehicle seat belt.
Depending on the country’s legislation, the child car seat is installed on the rear seat of the vehicle or, exceptionally, on the front seat (in France:
according to the provisions of Regulation 91-1321 dated 27.12.1991). If you install the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix on the passenger seat, the airbag of this seat must be deactivated if necessary or the passenger seat must be pushed as far back as possible. Please refer to your vehicle manual for this.
Ensure that the folding rear seat backrest is locked and that the seat backrest is always in a vertical position.
Avoid overloading the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat with luggage and prevent trapping when adjusting the seat or closing the doors.
Always secure luggage or other loose items.
Cover the Bebeconfort Road Fix i-Size / Hera i-Fix child car seat when parking your vehicle in direct sunlight. Otherwise, the cover may discolour and the plastic parts may become too hot for your child’s skin.
The rigid parts and plastic components of a child restraint system must be installed so that they cannot become trapped under a movable seat or in the vehicle door under normal vehicle usage conditions.
Do not use the child restraint system without the corresponding cover. Do not replace the seat cover with another unless recommended by the manufacturer, as the cover directly affects the behaviour of the restraint system.
When installing with belts, ensure that the belts securing the seat in the vehicle are taut.
