WARNING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Pacifier:
WARNING! Check the product before each use. Pull the pacifier in all directions. Discard the product immediately at the first sign of damage or defects. Use only special pacifier clips that comply with EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a pacifier. Your child could suffer a risk of strangulation. Do not leave the pacifier in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Do not soak it in disinfectant (“sterilisation solution”) for longer than recommended, as this can affect the teat. Sterilise the pacifier before first use by placing it in boiling water for five minutes. Allow it to cool. Water can enter the teat of the pacifier through the ventilation hole. Squeeze the teat gently to expel the water. This is for hygiene purposes. Clean and sterilise pacifiers before each use by scalding. Do not use detergents or dishwashers, as this would damage the teat. Never dip the teat in sweet foods or medicines. Your child could develop tooth decay. Replace the pacifier for safety and hygiene reasons after four to six weeks of use. NO NEED TO FEAR if the pacifier gets stuck in the child’s mouth! It cannot be swallowed and is designed so that such situations are unproblematic. Remove the pacifier from the child’s mouth as carefully and gently as possible. The teat is made of silicone or natural rubber. Natural rubber teats may cause allergic reactions in some children. Do not use pacifiers with discolorations or other abnormalities. A natural rubber pacifier may slightly enlarge through use. Always supervise the baby when using a pacifier.
Pacifier chain:
CAUTION! Check the pacifier holder before each use! Discard it immediately at the first sign of damage or defects. Never extend the pacifier holder! (Risk of strangulation!) Never attach the pacifier holder to cords, straps, suspenders, or loose parts of clothing. Your child can strangle themselves with it. Use the pacifier holder only when your child is awake and under supervision. Always attach it to clothing. Do not use pacifier holders when the baby is in a crib, bed, or playpen. Do not store it in damp environments. The pacifier holder must not be used as a toy or teething ring. Never tie it around your baby’s neck. Do not use the product when the baby is unsupervised.
