Grows with your child - from day 1

The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix i-Size from birth - 12 months (40-75 cm) car seat incl. seat reducer, sun canopy in Essential Black is now a very popular classic that has been constantly evolving since 2003. The latest Maxi Cosi Cabriofix i-Size model meets the latest safety standards with Isofix. This means that your little world explorer can travel in the car in complete safety from day one up to around 12 months. You can choose from both attachment options:

• the infant car seat is secured with the separately available CabrioFix i-Size base or the FamilyFix 3 i-Size base with Isofix, or
• secured in your car with the vehicle seat belt.

If the Cabriofix Maxi Cosi is then combined with the base, you can get started straight away after simply clicking it into place. This makes installation in the car and against the direction of travel child's play. Equipped with a practical belt guide, buckling up with the 3-point belt is particularly simple so that nothing can go wrong.

The back-friendly lightweight

At just 3.2 kg, the Maxi-Cosi infant car seat is easy to lift, so you can carry it comfortably over your arm to the car and back to the house on the wide, ergonomic handle. For the next shopping trip, the infant car seat can be attached to a baby carriage frame in no time at all, creating a practical travel system. The memory release buttons make it possible to lift the infant car seat out of the baby carriage frame with just one hand.

With the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix newborn insert, even the smallest of passengers from 40 cm tall can sit safely. Framed by padded side parts, a seat cushion and a protective head cushion, he or she sits comfortably, even if the brakes have to be applied sharply during the journey. Cushions on the shoulder straps of the 3-point harness prevent uncomfortable pressure or cutting in.

As your baby grows, the seat reducer can be easily removed to create a larger seat in no time at all. On sunny days, the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix sun canopy is a practical protection that reliably shields baby's sensitive skin from too much sunlight. If the cover of the Maxi Cosi Cabrio Fix needs cleaning, you can simply remove it and make it shine again with a machine wash.
