The Clear Step 2 child safety gate is ideal for securing doors or stairs with a width of 75 - 80 cm. Alternatively, and for wider passageways, we recommend the Clear Step 2 incl. 9 cm extension (84-89 cm) or the Clear Step 2 incl. 21 cm extension (96 - 101 cm). All these models can be further extended with 9 cm and 21 cm extensions and combined with Y-spindles to attach them to banisters with round bars.

Simple installation - without drilling

You can install the clamping grille easily and without additional tools. You don't need to drill any holes in the walls. This makes the safety gate ideal for rented apartments or if you don't want to damage your walls. If you no longer need the grille later, it can be removed without leaving a trace.

To install the grille, simply tighten the four set screws on the sides of the grille. This reliably clamps the protective grille between the walls or the door frame.

Note: This item is a self-adjusting safety gate. The initially crooked side panel is straightened by tightening the adjusting screws. This ensures a secure hold and parallel fixation in the area of the locking mechanism.

Childproof lock

The integrated safety lock with 2 action system makes it impossible for your child to open the gate independently. However, you can easily open and close it yourself with one hand. You can open the door in both directions or block it to one side with the safety stopper, depending on the situation. This allows you to move around your home as usual.

Can be flexibly extended up to 122 cm wide

This standard gate can be used to secure stairs and other openings with a width of 75 to 80 cm. An extension can be attached to each side of the grille so that passages up to a maximum of 122 cm are secured. Separately available Y-spindles can also be used for round struts on a staircase.
