The Infant Car Seat i-Snug 2 i-Size from Joie combines an ultra-lightweight of only 3.35 kg with sustainable fabrics from the Cycle Collection. From birth up to approx. 12 months (40–75 cm, up to max. 13 kg), it safely accompanies your baby in the car – easily attached via ISOFIX base or vehicle belt.
Maximum side and head protection
Outstanding safety is provided by the three-layer Tri-Protect headrest with energy-absorbing IntelliFit memory foam. Framed by soft side wings and the newborn insert, your little one sits protected and secure even during braking manoeuvres.
Ergonomic comfort & easy handling
The ergonomically shaped carry handle feels comfortable in the hand, allowing you to effortlessly carry the i-Snug 2 into the car or transfer it to your stroller (with separately available adapters). The soft, removable sun canopy with UV protection 50+ provides shade, while the integrated air circulation system ensures fresh air at the back.

Attachment with the ISOFIX base
With the Isofix base i-Base Advance from Joie, you can securely attach the Infant Car Seat i-Snug 2 in the car. The i-Base is equipped with 10-position adjustable ISOFIX connectors, allowing you to perfectly position the Infant Car Seat and adapt it to your car. Colour indicators ensure correct installation. Removing the seat unit is made very easy thanks to QuickRelease: with the push of a button, the shell can be released with just one hand. Additional safety is provided by the support leg and the removable rebound bar, which reduce the impact forces in an accident.

Car seat protective mat
The removable padded protector protects your vehicle seat from impressions and dirt; thanks to ISOFIX cutouts, everything stays securely in place. Non-slip surfaces prevent the Infant Car Seat from slipping, and two mesh pockets offer storage space for toys or snacks. For cleaning, a damp cloth is sufficient.

To use this Joie child restraint system with ISOFIX connectors according to UN Regulation No.129, your child must meet the following requirements: Rear-facing: Child height 61-105 cm / maximum child weight 19 kg
Forward-facing: Child height 76-105 cm / child age at least 15 months / maximum child weight 19 kg
! IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE FORWARD-FACING WHILE YOUR CHILD IS YOUNGER THAN 15 MONTHS (follow instructions)
! Ensure that the seat is securely connected to the vehicle via the ISOFIX connectors, that the support leg is firmly resting on the vehicle floor, and that the seat belts fit snugly against your child's body and are not twisted.
! After placing your child in the seat, the safety belt must be correctly fastened.
The lap belt should run as low as possible so that the pelvis is securely fixed.
! Do NOT use this child restraint system after it has been involved in an accident.
Replace it immediately, as it may have invisible structural damage from the accident.
! You must NOT modify this child restraint system or use it together with parts from other manufacturers. Follow the instructions and warnings in this manual, otherwise your child may suffer serious or even fatal injuries.
! Please protect the child restraint system from direct sunlight. In case of high outside temperatures and storage in the vehicle, ensure before use that the surfaces have not become too hot before placing your child in the seat.
! NEVER leave your child unattended in this child restraint system.
! Do NOT place unsecured objects in your vehicle, as these could be thrown around during sharp turns, sudden braking, or accidents and injure occupants.
Do NOT use this child restraint system without the textiles.
! The textiles may only be replaced by parts recommended by the manufacturer, as they are an integral part of the child restraint system's safety concept.
! NEVER install this child restraint system rear-facing on a vehicle seat with an activated front airbag.
! Please ensure before purchasing this child restraint system that you can properly secure it in your vehicle.
! NO child restraint system can guarantee complete protection against injury in an accident.
However, the proper use of this child restraint system reduces the risk of serious or fatal injuries to your child.
! Before installing and using this child restraint system, ensure that you have read and understood the instructions and warnings in this manual as well as in your vehicle’s user manual.
! Do NOT use this child restraint system if it is damaged or parts are missing.
! Ensure your child is appropriately dressed when using this child restraint system (especially no excessively thick or padded clothing); otherwise, your child cannot be reliably secured! Preferably use a blanket at low temperatures to cover the already buckled child.

! NEVER use a second-hand child restraint system whose history you do not know; it may have hidden structural damage (hairline cracks) that could endanger your child.
! NEVER use ropes or other objects to secure the child restraint system in your vehicle or your child’s seat.
! Ensure that the child restraint system is installed so that it does not collide with movable seats or vehicle doors.
! For questions regarding care, repair, and spare parts, please contact your specialist dealer.
! Remove the child restraint system from the car when not in regular use and store it in a dry, sun-protected room.
! The parts of the child restraint system must not be oiled.
! ALWAYS secure your child in the child restraint system when travelling.
This applies to every journey, even short ones. Many accidents happen on short trips.
! Regularly check the ISOFIX anchorages and remove dirt or dust if necessary to ensure proper fixation.
! Do NOT use any other or additional cushions in this child restraint system than those supplied by the manufacturer.
