To use this Joie child restraint system with ISOFIX connectors according to UN Regulation No.129, your child must meet the following requirements:
Rear-facing: Child height 40-105 cm / maximum child weight 19 kg
Forward-facing: Child height 76-105 cm / child age at least 15 months /
maximum child weight 19 kg
! IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE FORWARD-FACING WHILE YOUR CHILD IS YOUNGER THAN
15 MONTHS (follow the instructions)
! Ensure that the seat is firmly connected to the vehicle via the ISOFIX connectors, that the support leg rests firmly on the vehicle floor, and that the seat belts fit tightly against your child's
body and are not twisted.
! After placing your child in the seat, the safety belt must be correctly fastened.
The lap belt should run as low as possible to securely fix the pelvis.
WARNING NOTES
! Do NOT use this child restraint system any further after it has been involved in an accident.
Replace it immediately, as it may have invisible structural damage due to the accident.
! You must NOT modify this child restraint system or use it together with parts from other manufacturers. Follow the instructions and warnings in this manual, otherwise your child may suffer serious or even fatal injuries.
! Please protect the child restraint system from direct sunlight. In high outside temperatures and when stored in the vehicle, ensure before use that the surfaces have not become too hot before placing your child in the seat.
! NEVER leave your child unattended in this child restraint system.
! Do NOT place unsecured objects in your vehicle, as these may be thrown around during sharp turns,
sudden braking, or accidents and could injure occupants.
WARNING NOTES
! Do NOT use this child restraint system without the textiles.
! The textiles may only be replaced with parts recommended by the manufacturer, as they are an integral part of the safety concept of the child restraint system.
! NEVER install this child restraint system rear-facing on a vehicle seat with an activated front airbag.
! Please ensure before purchasing this child restraint system that you can properly secure it in your vehicle.
! NO child restraint system can guarantee complete protection against injury in an accident.
However, the proper use of this child restraint system reduces the risk of
serious or fatal injuries to your child.
! Before installation and use of this child restraint system, ensure that you have read and understood the
instructions and warnings in this manual as well as in your vehicle's user manual.
WARNING NOTES
! Do NOT use this child restraint system if it is damaged or parts are missing.
! Ensure your child is appropriately dressed when using this child restraint system (especially no excessively thick or padded clothing); otherwise, your child CANNOT be reliably secured! Preferably use a blanket at low temperatures.
! Ensure that the child restraint system is installed so that it does not collide with movable seats or vehicle doors.
! For questions regarding care, repair, and spare parts, please contact your specialist dealer.
! Remove the child restraint system from the car if used irregularly and
store it in a dry place protected from sunlight.
! Do not oil any parts of the child restraint system.
! ALWAYS secure your child in the child restraint system when travelling.

Many accidents happen precisely on short trips.
! Regularly check the ISOFIX anchorages and remove any dirt or dust if necessary to ensure proper fixation.
! Do NOT use any other or additional cushions in this child restraint system than those supplied by the manufacturer.
