On the road from day 1 with the Calmi R129 carrycot in the car
The Calmi R129 carrycot from Joie can be used both in the car and on the baby carriage. In the car, it is attached with the i-Base Encore isofix station, thus eliminating the need for an additional infant car seat. Certified according to the new ECE R129/03 standard, the Calmi R129 is just as safe as an infant car seat.
The Calmi R129 carrycot is also compatible with the Joie Signature baby carriages Aeria, Finiti and Vinca from birth, making it quick and easy to transform into a practical travel system. By using it both in the car and with the stroller, you are fully flexible while your baby can continue to sleep comfortably snuggled up. The Calmi R129 carrycot is part of the Encore Spinning System and can be perfectly combined with the i-Harbor reboarder seat. So your baby is always safe from birth to 4 years.

Comfort combined with maximum safety
In the super-comfortable Calmi R129, your baby lies flat on the mattress - the best ergonomic position for the developing spine. The integrated 3-point harness and the soft newborn insert in the carrycot ensure that your baby is safe on the move. Resistant, shock-absorbing plastic and EPP foam reduce the impact forces in the event of an accident and ensure your baby's safety.
The fold-out wind protection on the protective cover makes outings possible even when it's stormy. The Calmi carrycot features an ergonomic carry handle with an imitation leather cover. This means that the carrycot always sits comfortably and securely in the hand. The required adapter is included with the Joie Signature pushchair. The mattress cover can be removed and is machine washable at 30 °C.

On sunny days, the removable sun canopy with UV protection 50+ is very practical, as it reliably shields baby's sensitive skin and provides shade. Sudden rain can't harm the water-repellent material. The large mesh insert and ventilation slits in the shell always ensure optimum air circulation and a comfortable climate all year round. ! When installing with i-Base Encore, do NOT use the swivel function.
! The advanced child restraint system may not fit all approved vehicles.

! Before carrying or lifting the product, ensure the handle is in the correct usage position.
! Check before use that the fastening devices are properly engaged.
! Ensure before use that all locks are engaged.
! Keep small parts away from children; contains small parts that may be swallowed.
! The baby carrier is not suitable for jogging or skating.
! This product is only suitable for children who cannot sit unaided.
! The handles and base of the baby carrier should be regularly checked for signs of damage and wear.
! Avoid choking hazard by removing and destroying all plastic covers before use or keeping them out of reach of children.

! Ensure that rigid parts and plastic parts of an advanced child restraint system are positioned and installed so that they cannot be trapped in a door seat or vehicle door.
! Use the flat reclinable car bed aligned vertically to the vehicle’s longitudinal axis.
! All support legs must touch the vehicle floor and all harness straps must be adjusted according to the child’s body. The straps must not be twisted.
! This child restraint system should be replaced if subjected to excessive stress in an accident. An accident can damage it without visible signs.
! Be aware of the dangers from modifications or additions to this product not approved by a competent authority. Also observe the dangers of not following the installation instructions of the child restraint system manufacturer.
! Children must not be left unattended in the extended child restraint system.

! Any load attached to the handle or canopy affects the stability of the baby carrier.
! To avoid injury, ensure the child is not nearby when folding or unfolding this product.
! The brake system must be engaged when placing or removing children.
