Safe & comfortable through all growth phases
The SAFETY FIX 2 i-Size from Kinderkraft accompanies your child from toddler to youth – safe, comfortable and reliable. The growing car seat meets the current i-Size standard R129 and is suitable for children from 76 to 150 cm in height (approx. 15 months to 12 years). Thanks to easy installation with ISOFIX and Top Tether, it can be installed in the car in no time. Safety systems like H-GUARD and SIDE PROTECT reliably protect the head, shoulders and spine in the event of a collision.
Individually adjustable for every growth phase
With the modular seat reducer for smaller children and the particularly wide, deep seat, the SAFETY FIX 2 i-Size offers high comfort at every age. The headrest can be adjusted in height in 12 positions – the EASY GROW SYSTEM automatically adjusts the belt length. As soon as your child is big enough, the integrated 5-point harness can be easily stowed away and the car belt used.
Comfortable & easy-care design
The padded seat ensures a pleasant seating climate with breathable cover – even on warm days. Practical details such as rubber bands to fix the belts make getting in easier. The cover can be easily removed and cleaned if necessary, so the seat stays looking good for a long time.

WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Please take a few minutes to read this user manual to ensure the safety of your children. Many easily avoidable injuries are caused by careless and improper use of the child seat.
• The child seat is only suitable for installation in forward-facing car seats. The child seat must not be installed on rear-facing or side-facing seats/car seats (Fig. A.2, A.3).
• If a child seat is installed on the front seat, the airbag must be deactivated.
We recommend installing the child seat only on the rear seats of a vehicle. Information on the suitability of a car seat for use with a child seat can be found in the vehicle manual.
• Ensure that the integrated belts restraining the child correspond to the child’s body shape and are not twisted. Therefore, do not place thick clothing under the child’s belt.
• The lap belts of the safety belt must run as low as possible over your child’s pelvis to achieve optimal effect in the event of an accident.
• The child seat must be replaced if it has been subjected to a sudden load in a traffic accident.
• The child seat must not be altered in any way without the approval of the responsible approval authority. Incorrect installation of the child seat contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions may lead to risks to life and health.
• Keep the child seat away from direct sunlight, as your child could otherwise be burned by heated parts. Protect your child and the child seat from sunlight.
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat.
• Make sure that your luggage and other objects are sufficiently secured, especially those on the parcel shelf, as they can cause injuries in a collision.
• The child seat must not be used without padding.
• No other replacement padding than those recommended by the manufacturer may be used, as they are an integral part of the seat’s safety system.
• No other attachment points may be used than those described in the user manual and marked on the child seat.
• All hard and plastic parts of the child seat must be installed and mounted so that they cannot be trapped in the adjustable vehicle seat or vehicle door under normal vehicle operating conditions.
• Regularly check the condition of the child seat, paying special attention to the attachment points, seams and adjustment elements. Make sure that all mechanical components are fully functional. Never grease or oil the components of a child seat.
• Do not use the child seat if parts are damaged or loose.
• In an emergency, it is important to quickly unbuckle the safety belts. This means that the release button of the belt is not fully secured. Make sure your child does not play with the belt.
• Be a good role model for your child and always wear the seat belt. An adult who is not buckled up can also pose a danger to a child.
• Before every car trip, ensure the child seat is properly secured.
• The child seat should also be secured when not in use. An unsecured child seat can cause injuries to passengers even during emergency braking.
• With some vehicle seats made of sensitive materials, the use of child seats may leave marks and/or cause discoloration. To prevent this, you can place a blanket, towel or a similar product under the child seat.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
