The latest model Maxi Cosi Cabriofix i-Size meets the latest safety standards with Isofix. So your little world explorer can ride super safe in the car from day one until about 15 months. You have both attachment options to choose from:
- the infant carrier is attached with the separately available CabrioFix i-Size base or the FamilyFix 3 i-Size base with Isofix, or
- secured in your car with the car seat belt.
If the Cabriofix Maxi Cosi is then combined with the base, it can go directly after simply clicking in. Thus, the installation in the car and against the direction of travel is pure child's play. Equipped with a practical belt guide, buckling up with the 3-point belt is particularly simple, so that nothing can go wrong.

Install the child seat only rear-facing on a forward-facing vehicle seat.
Baby in the CabrioFix i-Size
• Make sure that no more than one finger fits between the harness and the baby (1 cm).
Tighten the harness if there is more than 1 cm of space.
• Use the Baby-Hugg insert of the CabrioFix i-Size until your baby is 60 cm tall. Then remove the Baby-Hugg insert from the CabrioFix i-Size.
Never place the child seat on elevated surfaces (e.g. on tables and chairs).
• Check that the carry handle is locked in the carrying position (A1) to ensure that the
child seat does not tip when carried.
• Always make sure to use the approved child seat adapters and secure the CabrioFix i-Size correctly when installing the CabrioFix i-Size in a stroller.
This is an extended child seat module to be used in combination with an i-Size product approved under Regulation No. 129 in “i-Size-compatible” vehicle seat positions, as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle manual. This module can also be used as a standalone child seat in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system.
