Yes, you read that right: The Nuna CARI next is a carrycot for the car – and at the same time a clever travel system for your everyday life. Your baby lies flat and ergonomically, just as it is best for the development of the spine. The cosy mattress and the newborn insert made of organic jersey provide security and the highest comfort – whether on the way to family or on a trip to the city.
Flexible in everyday life – compatible with the NEXT system
Whether in the car or on the stroller: The CARI next adapts to your rhythm. You can easily click it onto a Nuna stroller and let your baby continue sleeping without having to transfer them. As part of the NEXT system, it is compatible with the BASE next or BASE curv base stations (sold separately) and can be quickly and safely installed in the car.
Secure protection from day one
For maximum safety, a lightweight but robust shell made of highly durable plastic with energy-absorbing EPP foam is used. The integrated 3-point harness keeps your baby securely in place, while a softly padded headrest provides additional support. At the same time, everything remains comfortably cosy – so your child lies relaxed, even when you are on the road for longer.

Failure to comply with these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
Ensure that rigid parts and plastic parts of an advanced child restraint system are placed and installed so that they are not trapped in a door seat or a vehicle door.
Use the baby carrier vertically to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
To use this advanced child restraint system in accordance with UN Regulation No. 129, your child must meet the following requirements.
Child’s height 40 – 75 cm / child’s weight ≤ 13 kg: All support legs must touch the vehicle floor and all harness straps must be adjusted according to the child’s body. The straps must not be twisted.
This child restraint system should be replaced if it has been subjected to excessive stress in an accident. An accident can damage it without visible signs.
Note the dangers of modifications or additions to this product that have not been approved by a competent authority. Also note the dangers of non-compliance with the installation instructions of the child restraint system manufacturer.
Please do not place this advanced child restraint system in direct sunlight; otherwise it may become too hot for your child’s skin. Always touch the child restraint system first before placing the child in it.
Children must not be left unattended in the reinforced child restraint system.
Luggage and other items that could cause injury in an accident should be properly secured.
The advanced child restraint system should NOT be used without the textile parts.
The textile parts should only be replaced with parts recommended by the manufacturer, as they significantly affect the behaviour of the child restraint system.
The child restraint system may not be usable on all vehicle seating positions. Please check your vehicle using the enclosed type list.
The instructions should be kept during the period of use with the reinforced child restraint system.
Please also observe the instructions and warnings in the vehicle manufacturer’s manual.
Use ONLY the mattress supplied with the baby carrier; do not add any other mattress from Nuna.
Do NOT use the swivel function when installed with BASE next.
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
