The SCD620/26 digital video baby monitor from Philips AVENT has a 2.7-inch color screen that lets you keep an eye on your baby. With an intercom function and five lullabies, your offspring can be quickly calmed down. The range is up to 50 metres indoors and up to 300 metres outdoors. Thanks to the ECO mode, you can also use the baby monitor particularly energy-efficiently. You can choose from four different operating modes.

Safety & Safety modes

The parent unit lets you perfectly hear and see your baby day and night. The high-resolution 6.6 cm colour screen transmits crystal-clear images, regardless of the lighting conditions in the children's room. In the dark, the infrared night vision function switches on automatically. The high quality of the sound transmission ensures that you not only see your baby perfectly, but can also hear it crystal clear. Thanks to adaptable FHSS technology, your connection is always secure and private.

The baby monitor's operating mode offers you four different modes. In video mode, a continuous image transmission takes place and you can see your child all the time on the colour display. If you only want to hear your baby, switch to audio mode and the picture transmission will turn off. In VOX mode, the display and sound will turn off if no sound is heard for 20 seconds. However, the connection remains active and as soon as you hear any noise again, the transmission switches on again immediately. Even in the energy-saving ECO mode, picture and sound transmission are switched off when the children's room is quiet. In addition, there is no constant radio communication between baby and parent unit. This is only restored when the device is aware of sounds. However, you can see that the parent unit is still connected to the baby unit via the green connection indicator light.

If you do not want any quiet sound to be transmitted from the nursery, you can adjust the sensitivity of the baby monitor on the parent unit. If you set the sensitivity level very high in Video and Audio mode, the sound will be continuously transmitted from the baby unit to the parent unit. At lower sensitivity, quiet sounds are muted.

Comfort & Ease of Use

The LED indicators on the device will illuminate green when the connection between the baby and parent unit is stable, the battery is sufficiently charged, the baby monitor is in ECO mode and you are using the intercom function. In the display, symbols inform you about the connection points between the baby and parent unit, the current operating mode, the selected lullaby and the battery level. If you are out of range or the battery is running low, the LEDs will light red, the parent unit will beep and you will also be notified visually on the display. With a full battery, you can use the parent unit for about 10 hours without wires.

On the parent unit, you can adjust the speaker volume and display brightness. In a noisy environment, you can also turn on the vibration alarm. The Gürtel clip on the parent unit makes it easy to attach it to the waistband or Gürtel. So you can move freely around the house and have both hands free. The display will now turn upside down so that you can see your baby on the display by simply lifting the parent unit slightly.

Extras for your baby

The sleep song function can be operated directly on the baby unit or parent. You can choose from five soothing melodies that will gently lead your baby to sleep. The selected song will play for about 15 minutes and then automatically turns off. You can also have all available songs played one after the other. The volume here can of course be adjusted individually. If your baby is particularly restless or suddenly wakes up, you can calm him down with your voice using the intercom function.

The baby unit can be placed on a stable, flat surface or attached to a wall with the included screws. The camera rotates and tilts to give you the best possible view of your baby.
