The Xenon 1 Kid by Recaro accompanies your child safely and comfortably in the car from 3 months up to about 7 years. With its 360° rotation function, long usage period from 61 to 125 cm height, and well-thought-out features, it makes every journey comfortable and reliable. Growing car seat with 360° rotation
The Xenon 1 Kid grows with your child from infant car seat to preschool age. You use it rear-facing up to 105 cm, after which you can use it forward-facing. The 360° rotation function allows you to easily place your child in and buckle up – this makes everyday life easier and ensures comfortable handling.
Safe and comfortable on the go
The toddler insert supports your child ergonomically and ensures a healthy sitting position from the first months. The spacious seat design with soft padding also offers enough room for bigger children. Several ventilation openings and breathable fabrics prevent heat build-up, so your child sits comfortably even on warm days. The trapezoid-shaped side impact protection effectively reduces impact forces and reliably protects in side collisions. Especially practical is the self-standing crotch pad with upright belt guidance, which makes buckling easier and prevents the belts from slipping.
Intuitive installation with ISOFIX
Installation is quick and secure thanks to ISOFIX and support leg. In later age stages, the seat can also be used with ISOFIX and vehicle belt without the support leg. The safety lock prevents misuse when driving rear-facing and ensures maximum safety up to 15 months. At just 11.4 kg, the seat is comparatively light and easy to handle.

WARNING!
• To ensure your child is properly protected, it is absolutely necessary to use the child seat as described in the accompanying instructions. Please read the instructions completely before using the child seat!
• Approval according to UN R129/03, i-Size
• This child seat may only be used rear-facing up to an age of 15 months! Only from an age of 16 months and a child height of 76 cm may the seat also be used forward-facing.
• Usage areas:
Birth - approx. 4 years / 40 - 105 cm, rear-facing with integrated 5-point harness system
16 months - approx. 4 years / 76 - 105 cm, forward-facing with integrated 5-point harness system
approx. 4 years to approx. 7 years / 100 to 125 cm, forward-facing with the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt
• Installation:
Birth - approx. 4 years / 40 - 105 cm, Isofix and support leg, use of 5-point harness system

• The support leg must always have direct contact with the floor. No objects or gaps are allowed between the vehicle floor and the support leg. If your vehicle has storage compartments in the footwell, please consult the vehicle manufacturer. In case of doubt, please use another vehicle seat.
• Use of the child seat on rear-facing vehicle seats or those arranged sideways to the direction of travel is not permitted!
• Do not use the child seat rear-facing on a seat where a front airbag is activated. This must first be deactivated. In the event of an accident, the large-volume front airbag can deploy explosively and seriously injure or even kill the child. Side airbags do not need to be deactivated.
• The harness system cannot be removed! Never remove individual components of the harness system!
• Adjustment between sitting and lying position while driving is expressly prohibited for safety reasons!
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat!
Even if you leave the child alone in the car for only a few minutes, there is already a risk of heat stroke!
• The plastic parts of the child seat can heat up in sunlight. The child can burn themselves on these. Protect the child and the child seat from intense sunlight, e.g. by placing a light cloth over the seat or fitting an original summer cover.
• The child seat must never be used without a cover. The seat cover is a safety feature and may only be replaced by an original RECARO seat cover.
• As the child grows, the headrest of the child seat must be adjusted from time to time.
• Ensure that the vehicle seat belt is not twisted and lies flat against the child’s body.
• The vehicle seat belt buckle must not rest directly against the lower belt guide. If the belt strap is too long, the child seat is not suitable for use in this vehicle position. Please contact your vehicle manufacturer if in doubt.
• Always secure the child seat correctly in the vehicle, even when it is not in use. Unsecured parts can injure other passengers and yourself even in an emergency brake or minor collision.
• The child seat should be replaced if it has been involved in an accident. An accident can damage the product without leaving visible marks.
• Keep packaging materials out of reach of children, as there is a choking hazard!
Remove all bags and packaging materials before use.
