On the road from birth to around 7 years with the Recaro Reboarder
The latest Recaro Reboarder is up to date in terms of safety with Isofix and integrated side impact protection and complies with the latest European safety standard i-Size. Your little one can always travel comfortably and rear-facing in the car from birth up to 7 years. From the age of 15 months, use in the forward-facing direction is also possible and permitted.
With the included Isofix base, you can easily attach the Reboarder. The swivel function of the base station saves you awkward movements and back pain: you turn the Reboarder towards you, place your child in comfortably, and swing it back into the driving position with a one-hand grip. This way, you always have the perfect view of the harness, can buckle up quickly and correctly, and maintain physical contact at the same time. The base is particularly stable thanks to the integrated support leg. Equipped with a 5-point harness, the impact forces are optimally distributed across the shoulders, hips & pelvis – for maximum safety. Soft padding on the harness system prevents pressure points and makes buckling up more comfortable.
Cleverly designed and grows with your child
For the time immediately after birth, this model features a newborn insert. It provides good support in the seat from a height of 40 cm and is thus perfect for the very smallest passengers. After a while, you can simply remove it to create more space in the seat. A 4-position adjustable backrest and a 3-position adjustable headrest also allow you to individually adapt the Reboarder to your child’s height. A back-friendly posture and comfort during naps on the go are ensured with the Reboarder. You can easily adjust it into a semi-reclined or lying position. If the cover needs cleaning, you can simply remove it and restore its shine with a machine wash.

• To ensure your child is properly protected, it is absolutely necessary to use the child seat as described in the accompanying instructions. Please read the instructions completely before using the child seat!
• Approval according to UN R129/03, i-Size
• This child seat may only be used rear-facing up to an age of 15 months! Only from the age of 16 months and a child height of 76 cm may the seat also be used forward-facing.
• Usage areas:
Birth - approx. 4 years / 40 - 105 cm, rear-facing with integrated 5-point harness system
16 months - approx. 4 years / 76 - 105 cm, forward-facing with integrated 5-point harness system
Approx. 4 years to approx. 7 years / 100 to 125 cm, forward-facing with 3-point vehicle seat belt
• Installation:

• The support leg must always have direct contact with the floor. No objects or cavities are allowed between the vehicle floor and the support leg. If your vehicle has storage compartments in the footwell, please contact the vehicle manufacturer. In case of doubt, please use another vehicle seat.
• Use of the child seat on rear-facing vehicle seats or on seats arranged transversely to the direction of travel is not permitted!
• Do not use the child seat rear-facing on a seat where a front airbag is activated. This must first be deactivated. In an accident, the large-volume front airbag can deploy explosively and seriously injure or even kill the child. Side airbags do not need to be deactivated.
• The harness system cannot be removed! Never remove individual components of the harness system!
• Adjustment between sitting and lying position during the journey is expressly prohibited for safety reasons!
• Never leave your child unattended in the child seat!
Even if you leave the child alone in the car for only a few minutes, there is already a risk of heat stroke!
• The plastic parts of the child seat can heat up in sunlight. The child can burn themselves on it. Protect the child and the child seat from intense sunlight, for example by placing a light cloth over the seat or fitting an original summer cover.
• The child seat must never be used without a cover. The seat cover is a safety feature and may only be replaced with an original RECARO seat cover.
• As the child grows, the headrest of the child seat must be adjusted from time to time.
• Make sure that the vehicle seat belt is not twisted and lies flat against the child’s body.
• The vehicle seat belt buckle must not rest directly against the lower belt guide. If the belt tongue is too long, the child seat is not suitable for use in this vehicle position. Please contact your vehicle manufacturer in case of doubt.
• Always secure the child seat correctly in the vehicle, even when it is not in use. Even in the event of emergency braking or a minor impact, unsecured parts can injure other passengers and yourself.
• The child seat should be replaced if it has been involved in an accident. An accident can damage the product without leaving visible traces.
• Keep packaging material out of the reach of children as there is a choking hazard!
