• Full protection can only be achieved if the hearing protection is worn throughout the entire time the child is in a noisy environment. Hearing loss can occur already at 85 dB.
• Regularly check the sealing rings for cracks and seal failure.
• Ear defenders should always be worn continuously in noisy environments. Therefore, it is very important that the hearing protection does not slip. Small children must be constantly supervised as circumstances may require readjustment of the hearing protection. In general, it is not advisable to take children to events where it is loud, such as car and motor races or music festivals. In particular, children who are unable to check and adjust the correct fit of the hearing protection themselves should not be taken to such events. Always use the hearing protection under adult supervision.
• Make sure you always keep an eye on your child, regularly check the fit of the hearing protection and your child's comfort. The hearing of toddlers is very sensitive. Loud noises and music can cause permanent hearing damage. Therefore, keep small children as far away as possible from situations and rooms with a lot of noise. Ensure they always wear ear defenders in noisy environments. Excessive use can have long-term negative effects due to pressure on the head.
• Wear the earmuff hearing protection for a maximum of 90 minutes without a break and a total of about 3 hours per day.
